Pamela Geller is ‘full of love’
I just returned from a talk given by “controversial” blogger and
author Pamela Geller in Toronto. I sat in the very front row, so I’m
pretty sure I heard clearly every word she spoke. My verdict is that
she’s brilliant, eloquent, humorous, beautiful and full of love.Story continues below advertisementShe did not say anything negative about Muslims. In fact, for those
who remember Aqsa Parvez, the Mississauga Muslim girl who was murdered
in 2008 by her father and brother in an “honour killing,” Ms. Geller, an
American, played a role in this tragedy. For Aqsa had been buried
according to family wishes in a numbered plot, never to be remembered.Learning of this, Ms. Geller stepped in and raised $5,000 to purchase
a proper headstone for the young girl, which the family showed no
interest in. There is now a memorial to Aqsa Parvez and other “honour
killing” victims in a grove at the American Independence Park in Israel.Does this sound like a Muslim hater or someone to be feared?
