Letters from the free speech front

5

PG canadaI thought that Atlas readers who couldn’t be in Toronto last night should get a glimpse of the kind of mail I am receiving. Whenever I speak, the mail is always sprinkled with lovely and sometimes effusive notes, but Toronto took it to a whole other level.

You are not alone, fellow freedom fighters. Here’s a sample of letters today:

Hello Pamela,

Story continues below advertisement

I just wanted to let you know that is was truly an
honour, a privilege, and a pleasure to meet you at the JDL event this
evening. You are truly a hero and an inspiration to me. I have always
admired your courage, intelligence, and tireless effort, to raise
awareness of this very important issue. Thank you for taking two
pictures with me, and for looking at a photograph of my son. As I
mentioned to you, my wife is expecting our first daughter. I can’t think
of a better name than Pamela. Anyways, I look forward to seeing you
again soon. Congratulations on a GREAT night, and thank you for being
you.

Regards,

Mark

Dear Ms. Pamela,
There is no shortage of
well-deserved superlatives to be offered when it comes to describing
your remarkable and blessed essence; however, instead of writing
paragraph after magnificent paragraph, while perhaps still not entirely
capturing you and your incomparable odyssey, you so generously share
with the world, I thought I would  sum it all up in one rather
exceptional word.  A Yiddish/Hebrew word.
Ms. Pamela Geller, you are a ” simcha “, plain and simple.

A most spiritual and blessed Shavuot, Pamela.

Victor

Hello Pamela,
Thank You so much for coming to Toronto to speak to us.

I was fortunate enough to attend, but not so fortunate to be downstairs with you.  I was upstairs.
But really…  we could all feel your passion loud and clear.  It was a wonderful talk.

You are so right about not trying to change to world.  That would just be too daunting a task.
As I’ve tried to stress on the Blazing Cat Fur blog in the comment section.  We have to make our voices heard.
Otherwise we will accomplish nothing.

I bought your book.  I took a picture with my smartphone.  Thank you for suggesting I get one taken with you,
cause I was feeling a bit too shy.  However I must say, next time I will get someone who knows how to take
a better picture.  It was a bit out of focus.  So I will do better next time.

And also may I thank you for actually responding to some of my emails.  It is so kind and appreciated.

Take care of yourself,
Ian

B”H, my husband and I were at the Zionist Centre last night on the main
floor. Your presentation was amazing! YOU, ARE A TRUE FREEDOM FIGHTER!
Thank you from all of us for that.

I hope that you enjoyed your visit to Toronto..I’m hoping that you’ll be interviewed while you’re here..

BTW,
I NEVER received any reply from the Chiefs of Police for our city, York
Region, or Rob Nicholson, Justice Minister..I try to do what I can as
well..albeit on a much smaller scale than you…We can’t be guilty of
the sin of silence!

I’m so grateful to you for all that you are
fighting for, and I’m very grateful that I could see you in person..(I
wrote an email of thanks/appreciation to Meir as well.)

Have a joyful Shavuos, stay safe, and may Hashem continue to bless you with much success! Eileen

Hi Pam
I was at the Toronto meeting !
Wow what a fire cracker energizing session!
You need to come back to Toronto on a regular basis!
I had to leave a little early to pick up family from the airport!
I wanted to meet you and thank you personally!
Since the Toronto Board of “Rabbis” chose to diss you without speaking to you first!
Its is imperative you come back and force them to hold a Bet Din on these Lemmings !
These progressive leftists need to be exposed, for the harm they have done to the Jewish community!
Regards
David

Pamela,

I was in attendance tonight, to hear your speech at the Zionist
Centre here in Toronto.  I follow you on Atlas Shrug, and get your posts
on my Facebook page.  You are always informative, and all I can
say is…keep up the good work.  I post what I can on my Facebook page,
but unfortunately, some of my friends get turned off by my posts (many
posts are yours too!!), but I keep posting because it is reaching many
who still read them.

I read the statement issued by the Board of
Toronto Rabbis.  One of them is my Rabbi and I sent out an e-mail, basically accusing the
rabbis of not reading your material, or watching you.  I said
that if he had come to hear you speak tonight, he would be more
informed, and would have seen that the statement is bogus.  (the e-mail
was actually longer!)  Keep up the good work, and I apologize that some
of our rabbis have attacked you falsely.  If there is any
message you want me to relay, please let me know, I’ll be glad to pass it
on.  And, in case you don’t know, York Region houses the town of
Thornhill where I live, and it has one of the largest Jewish
populations in the Toronto area.  So many up here are pissed a Little Rick and with the Chabad Rabbi who should
have told Little Ricky where to put his chaplain job.

I was there tonight; bravo!  You have to understand how amazing it was that the talk was sold out. Tonight at 7PM was tge Toronto vs Boston game 7 playoff game. I’m sure you know we are hockey crazy.

I agree that being active is crucial. I was arrested at the Al Quds talley in the summer for coming too close to Muslims with my dog.

Thanks,

Allan

Glad that you had a sold out full house for your event in Toronto! Good work Pamela! Glad also that you now know..by the letters sent to you…that we need you to do many more talks across all of Canada!
I see you had no problems getting through the Border…which means our immigration minister didn’t see fit to deny you access into Canada….bet that peeved off little “Ricky the Muslim”….
