Please be a little more nuanced in your statements: you do the cause of truth no good by uttering what are at best half-truths. Historically under Islam, other monotheistic religions are not usually outlawed- they are merely subjugated (and yes, they are forced to pay a tax) and kept in a second class status. Unless, that is, the reigning caliph decides to take literally the Koranic prescription to “slay the idolators wherever you find them.”

He is merely quoting from a book and ASSUMES that Saudi Arabia has churches, etc. Fact is Larry that all items other than belonging to Islam are prohibited. That would include Christian Bibles, jewelry with the Star of David, crosses, etc. And Rob is correct that there are no other places of worship besides mosques. I actually had a Star of David with me by mistake at a local Saudi restaurant. Luckily, I had a friend that warned me that I still had it on. I quickly removed it and placed it inside my boot. Next, open your Koran to Surah Al-Baqarah, ayat 85 to discover that Islam is an inseveralbe package deal: all or nothing. Muslims must obey all of Allah’s imperatives: they can not reject 8:12, 39, 57, 59, 60, 65 & 67. They can not reject 9:5, 29 & 123.

There is no need for such acrimony. Islam is peaceful if peace is allowed to reign. If suppressed or cornered we will fight back as indicated in our Holy book, the Quran. If we are in a state of war we are allowed to fight the infidels and kill if necessary as we do in this country when war is waged on America. If war is waged on us we can fight back and jihad is permitted in these circumstances. The Quran is explicit in this manner and the verse from surah Baqarah does not allow any war except in circumstances in which we are subjected to war.
