President Shimon Peres met with the heads of the French Jewish community and a delegation of Imams

12

Until
these imams address Islamic antisemitism and the Islamic texts and teachings
that call for the slaughter of the Jews, this is all for show. This means nothing. Jews are fleeing Europe in droves. It is not safe to walk in many major European cities with any identifying Jewish symbols. Islamic anti-semitism poses the gravest existential threat to Jews all over the world.

I am glad that finally the government of Israel is acknowledging that the genocidal impetus is Islamic — hence the meeting with the delegation of Imams — but no one is talking about 800lb jihadi in the room: Islamic antisemitism. It's in the quran. And the fact that this is not being discussed invariably provides cover, because the silence is  sanction.

One of the imams said, "We teach the believers that human life is
holier than the holy sites! Holier than Mecca, the Vatican or Jerusalem."
Uh, he must be reading the Talmud.

More ishcabbibble. Of course the Imams wanted to know when "the Palestinians could be re-started." They just can't help themselves. This was a memorial for dead Jewish children at the hands of a jihadist, and it always comes back to the Jewish homeland and Islamic imperialism.

When President Peres said to the Imams, "Whoever was responsible for the murder of French citizens and
Jewish children in Toulouse showed the ugly face of terror…" It's not the who, it's the what. And no one is touching that, and that is the problem.

President Shimon Peres met with the heads of the French Jewish community and a delegation of Imams Before It's News, March 10, 2012 (thanks to BP)

President Shimon Peres, this morning (Sunday, 10 March 2013), in France,
conducted a special meeting with the heads of the Jewish community of France
and with a delegation of Imams including the heads of the Egyptian, African,
Moroccan and Senegalese communities and heads of central mosques. The
meeting took place the day before memorial events in France to mark one year
since the terrorist attacks in Toulouse

During the meeting with the Imams, President Peres was pleased by their
support for Israel, their moderate approach and tolerance towards other
faith communities and their vocal, steadfast opposition to terror in all its
forms. At the start of the meeting Imam Chalghoumi talked about the memorial
events one year after the terrorist attacks in France (March 11th and March
15th) and said, "Tomorrow, March 11th, is a terrible day of mourning for us,
a day on which terror struck from which we all suffered. I wanted to tell
you, Mr. President, that we Muslims are victims like the Jews, of the same
extremist who went on a journey of murder, who took the lives of children.
We are here to say to our brothers the Jews and the French: We are all
threatened by terror, hurt by terror and we all call with optimism for peace
at the end of this terrible year. We teach the believers that human life is
holier than the holy sites! Holier than Mecca, the Vatican or Jerusalem
"

President Peres thanked the Imam for his words and expressed his
appreciation, "Whoever was responsible for the murder of French citizens and
Jewish children in Toulouse showed the ugly face of terror, and your words
show the way of peace. You are leaders of an Islam which seeks peace, as we
do
. I am very grateful for your words, and I thank you for coming. I see in
you brothers in this path, dialogue between us is important and valuable and
that is why this meeting between us is so important. We will work together,
for all the peoples of the world, for Israeli's and Palestinians, for peace
in the world."

Imam Chalghoumi addressed the issue of the approach of the Muslim community
leadership towards the State of Israel and said that the delegation are
interested in bridging the gap between faiths and peoples, "The
Israeli-Palestinian conflict is not an excuse to hate the State of Israel –
we are not interested in that hate and do not believe in it. We visited
Israel and saw the country, we want to know Israel as it really is and to
get to know people from different perspectives."

During President Peres's visit with the Jewish community the leaders of the
community in France, including the leadership of the community in Toulouse,
updated President Peres on manner in which they have been coping since the
murders a year ago. They asked to hear from President Peres about ways in
which the peace process with the Palestinians could be re-started,
the
latest developments with regards to Iran and the general situation in the
Middle East in light of the Arab Spring. President Peres and the community
leadership also discussed incidents of anti-Semitism in France.

Peres is a deluded liberal fantasist and none of this community outreach and dialogue crap is going to amount to anything. The Islamic jihad will steamroll over everyone if it isn’t confronted squared.
The only solution short of all out war and eradication of the enemy is containment, deport muslims, ban Islam. Frankly I think we should hit Islamic states with an EMP so they’re put back in the real dark ages where they long to be and won’t have any means to attack us. Then again, I prefer warfare to see Islam be expunged from this planet.

Peres is deliriously self-important in his advancing senility, with a various array of pathetic fools about who just can’t face the reality that where Hitler left off, Islam is dedicated to carrying the torch of their shared totalitarian legacy, this time allied with the modern left in an unavoidable conflict. There is only a peace process for the naive and the devious, while the only alternative is to fight for your freedom and lives, just like WWII. Unfortunately, in sixty some years, not much has changed with the cultures and their actors, the Grand Mufti’s legions are more dangerous than ever, while the acquiescent world masses are in never ending denial and avoiding responsibility, until it’s too late to avoid the tragic consequences.

Islam can’t be destroyed and is only going to be transformed from within when there are enough imams who insist on that making those real changes to make Islam compatible with the modern civilized world. Like Atlas says, the interfaith dialogue is only good and worthwhile when everyone at the table is totally honest about the Koran and Islam. Maybe Pam and Robert aught to join an interfaith dialogue with freedom loving Muslims and non-Muslims. I’d love to see that.

The ELECTED Government of Israel makes POLICY,including FOREIGN POLICY,NOT the TITULAR President.
Peres CANNOT have his own Foreign Policy for Israel.
NOR does he have the RIGHT to negotiate with anyone ,especially Islamic Clerics, representing “THE STATE OF ISRAEL”.

Until the hate wording is stripped from the Qur’an, and not preached 24/7 any more, what was just discussed is nothing but Islamo-taqiyyi-babble, at a high level.
Shimon Peres is delusion to believe that a few Clerics words can change the course of centuries of seeded hate, death and destruction. Peres should be concerned of the happenings of Obama’s part in aiding the re establishment of a Middle East Caliphate.

Sometime I think these older guys remember the days long ago when individual leaders mattered in Arab communities, and could decide things themselves–thus the chance to live peacefully with the Jews. So they keep trying. They just cannot grasp that what once was is gone forever, and now what remains is the monolithic version of ISLAM and the hoped for worldwide jihad. Also, the population changes are important. When Peres was young there weren’t many on either side. In many ways it was a simpler time. The days when agreements were made on people’s individual word of honor. He’s not kept pace with the realities faced now.
Thankfully others, like Bibi Netanyahu and Chief of Staff Benny Gantz know the real story. Hope they don’t EVER forget.

Shimon Peres, you old fool..enough with the “Peace Process” and “Land for Peace”..you should have learned by now that your “Oslo Plan” did not work and is responsible for thousands of Jewish deaths.. Repeating the same mistakes will not produce a different result…Muslims hate Jews, plain and simple, get it?

The peace process is a process whereby the rest of the world pushes Israle into the concept of peace – domiantion death or conversion.
That is the “peace” they wish Israel to exist in. Which in effect is the death of Israel.
Gee, all the Churches pushing interfaith must really enjoy having their Christian parishioners massacred too, huh?? Imagine the wealth of the catholic and Anglican church and not one of them lifts a finger to save their faithful from the Isalamic hordes of death-dealers. Guess those investments are more valuable to them than human life huh?? And they’re too buys pushing for ther boycott of Israel. Ah, the priorities.

Peres said “Whoever was responsible for the murder of French citizens and Jewish children in Toulouse showed the ugly face of terror, and your words show the way of peace. You are leaders of an Islam which seeks peace, as we do.” Really? “Whoever”? You mean the muslime POS perp right? I didn’t notice the imams condemning the act or doing much for the victims’ families either.
