Prosecuting Muslim bomber 'alienates Muslims'? WND, February 4, 2013

Exclusive: Pamela Geller sheds light on CAIR's bizarre, twisted reasoning

In what could have been a jihadi bloodbath of unimaginable
proportions, a young American Muslim attempted to mass murder upward of
25,000 infidels (mostly women and children) at a Christmas tree-lighting
ceremony in Portland, Ore. Mohamed Mohamud has now been found guilty,
and the Hamas-tied Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR, is
enraged. According to Reuters, Hamas-CAIR’s Ibrahim Hooper “said the
case could alienate the Muslim community.”

Mohamud’s undercover handlers offered him several choices in the
service of jihad. He could have opted just to pray for the destruction
of the infidels. On the other hand, he could have opted for Islamic
martyrdom: killing infidels and getting himself killed in the process.
He chose something in-between: a plot to kill infidels in large numbers
without killing himself. He told the FBI he wanted to “become
operational.”

Now the jury’s verdict is in.
Mohamud has been found guilty. And the Muslim Brotherhood front CAIR
says has the audacity to say that the prosecution of Mohamud “alienates
Muslims.”

Again, there it is. Plain as day. Hamas-CAIR exposes its real agenda
yet again. The prosecution of this jihadist “alienates Muslims”?
Shouldn’t Muslim groups be standing with those of us who are fighting
against this very thing? They should be condemning this attempt at jihad
mass murder. But no, instead they stand with the would-be murderer.
They are claiming that Mohamed Mohamud was a victim of FBI entrapment.
What is the goal of this obfuscation? It is revealing of the true nature
of “moderate” groups in the U.S.

Entrapment? Could anyone “entrap” you into mass murdering tens of thousands of people?

Mohamed Mohamud pushed the button twice. It failed to detonate,
thanks to FBI surveillance programs (that very ones CAIR is working
fiercely to stop).

On the morning of the planned jihad murders, Mohamud told one of his
friends that this was “the greatest morning of my life.” No one was
forcing him when, a few hours after that, he pushed the buttons on a
cell phone that he thought would set off his jihad bomb and murder
thousands upon thousands of infidels.

But Hamas-CAIR and other Muslim groups aren’t denouncing jihad and
the Quranic verses that inspire these attacks. Why? Why aren’t they
critical of jihad? Aren’t they supposed to be “moderate”? Why are they
telling Muslims not to cooperate with law enforcement? On two occasions,
Cyrus McGoldrick, who was then an official of Hamas-CAIR’s New York
chapter, issued threats to “snitches.” Is anyone investigating Cyrus McGoldrick, and trying to find out what he was afraid Muslims would “snitch” about?

Hamas-CAIR’s Ibrahim Hooper also said, “I think convictions in these
kinds of cases are almost forgone conclusions based on the government’s
actions. They are the same in each case.” Yes, it’s the government’s
fault that devout Muslims want to slaughter in the cause of Islam. Let’s
blame the government for stopping this mass slaughter.

Why did Bill O’Reilly have CAIR on yet again last Thursday night, giving them the imprimatur of legitimacy?

There is much more. Read it all.

obama and holder call everything white, racial profiling and not worthy of the law’s protection, and a nation of cowards when it comes to the “whites”, holder actually said the voter intimidation laws were only meant for the “whites”.
obama and holder’s own statements are pure hatespeech, yet they are still allowed to roam free, instead of in jail.
obama and holder will one day pay their fair share , for preaching hatred of white America.
obama has a double whammy coming, when he pays for preaching from the korran, and blaspheming Jesus.
Deport every muslim now.

Hi Pamela, This comment has nothing to do with the above article. I don’t use facebook or twitter.
I have just seen on SBS TV ( Australia’s Multicultural Channel ) news an item about CAIR posting ” benign ” ads on buses etc re their different versions of JIHAD. I follow your articles each day with great admiration. Naturally, your wonderful ads re JIHAD were not mentioned. Political correctness as always !! The majority of Australians are apathetic and would be lulled into a false sense of security. We must continue the fight !!!!!!

To read Pamela here that O’Reilly is now a carrying water for CAIR and giving them the “imprimatur of legitimacy” in allowing their spokesman to proselytize on his show doesn’t surprise me. I was a FIERCE, loyal and devoted fan of Bill O’Reilly and Fox News from the beginning. I never missed a day without watching O’Reilly. I loved and believed in the man and took him at his word that he “was looking out for the folks.” I remember defending him in many verbal battles with liberal and “progressives” advocates – for 10 years!. Same thing with Glen Beck. I watched and financially supported him from the beginning. I felt for many years that here was two men that could have made a difference for America IF… they told the truth. I THOUGHT for a long time… they WERE telling the truth.
Then… on the most important issue of the century hinging on the constitutionality of whether O’Bama’s fraudulent COMPUTER GENERATED “birth certificate” was a valid document or not – THEY LET “THE FOLKS” and AMERICA DOWN!! They BOTH PUNKED OUT!!!! Both O’Reilly and Beck mocked, dismissed, belittled and insulted American’s computer savvy intelligence and the overwhelming evidence that the “birth certificate” was a computer generated, multi-layered, “cut and paste” fraud! I will always believe that if they both would not have had cowered to political correctness and told the truth it could have very well tipped the scale of the election. O’Reilly… as a fellow Catholic and New Yorker who grew with guys like you – you did NOT “look out for the folks.” These are empty meaningless words to me. So.. again… I’m not surprised he is now a water boy for CAIR. I’m ashamed and embarrassed that I ever supported him and Beck. Pamela – as always – is telling the truth. O’Reilly is “aid[ing] and abet[ting]” CAIR.

I watched that segment of O’Reilly, and if nothing else, he was able to get the CAIR savage to say some interesting things. The show piece was about the muslim complaint about the Super Bowl Coke ad. CAIR said it sterotyped muslims back to the “90’s”. What?? In 12 years did they completely revamp their image? I think not. Maybe showing them in suicide vest would have been more in keeping with modern times??
Bill also made a point several times of asking him why muslims are so upset all the time. Why everything offends them. Of course no answer.
So if nothing else, people got to see what a moron the CAIR rep really is and perhaps a glimpse of their true agenda. I think it’s important for people to see these idiots for what they are and maybe they will wake up and stop believing the lies CAIR spreads. Just my thoughts…. keep up the great work Pam

People like the ridiculous shameful CAIR spokesman have it exactly backwards and upside-down.
Muslims in the United States have to take responsibility and share the blame for the actions of their terror-homies — who are only acting in the name of the essential religious-ideological identity that they all still claim and more to the point refuse to renounce — no matter how much it hurts their feelings or alienates them. Until they do they’re all going to be guilty by association and part of a deep social division that is leading us to a dangerous standoff — which is exactly what they want.

So what exactly wouldn’t alienate Muslims, in CAIR’s opinion? Bowing to the Saudi king? Forking over billions to despotic Islamic governments in foreign aid, loan guarantees, investments, and petrodollars? Delivering White House dinners for Muslims and videotaping messages for them in Arabic and Farsi? How much more can we do to not “alienate” them??
And when there is one tiny little prosecution, they go bananas. If CAIR doesn’t like it, their leaders should move to whichever Arab country is paying their salaries this month.

O.K. This guy’s prosecution will alienate the Muslim community. So be it. If they feel alienated, maybe they’re thinking. If they come to the wrong conclusion (one not in accordance with reality), those are the chances you take when you think.

Americans and other free, tolerant people literally cannot begin to comprehend to deeply ingrained sense of cultural superiority that muslims presume in every aspect of daily life in relation to us.
Just think about obama — his crude and arrogant bearing and speech — then interpolate that prevailing offensiveness of his across the entire dirty, rude, abrupt, deceitful muslims immigrant class.

If Hamas-CAIR really felt this strongly about the case, why did they not intervene or at least file a brief? Because the media will accomodate them and a judge will not.

Every time Fox News shows O’Reilly I turn my TV channel to anything else (even to NBC or CNN) in spite that I am conservative. O’Reilly is arrogant, antisemitic (remember that he said that Gibson is his friend)and extremely politically correct liar. His bully attack on Mark Levin showed his real colors.
