on Growing Somalia Muslim Gang Threat

Yes, of course the Somalia Muslim gangs are growing, along with the threat they present. The Obama administration is importing whole Muslim communities from Islamic countries like Somalia. Their refugee status is determined by the UN. The "diversity" immigration numbers are doubling, tripling in some months.

Here's an email I received last year from a concerned citizen of the community the Sheriff was testifying about:

THANK YOU for sending out the article on Muslim gangs in Minnesota. We live in Minneapolis and every line in the article is true- Minneapolis is NOT the city it used to be! This is generally a very welcoming city- there have been constant influxes of immigrants, and victims of tyrannical governments, here for years- I can recall as far back as Cambodian refugees coming to our small, suburban school in the late 1970's. They have been welcomed and been very successful in assimilating into parts of the communities.

Unfortunately the Somalian Muslim population has been very different. They do not want to assimilate and are often contemptuous and hostile. I personally have had more than one disturbing "run-in" with extremely rude, arrogant Muslim men who have sworn at and cursed me, using disgusting, sexually degrading terms and gestures, while driving and in stores. Three years ago, my husband and I called for an airport taxi at 4:30 AM- and the driver, a Muslim, stood out in the street screaming and swearing at us for not being ready and waiting for him. We did not have time to call for another taxi. The inside of his cab was filled with Muslim signs, and he played his Middle Eastern music blaringly for the neighbors to be awakened by. Last week I was almost forced off the road by a Somali whose car bore bumper stickers with this message: " Lay Aside Your Pride- Put Down Your Arrogance- Remember Your Grave— The Answer is in the Qu'ran"

My husband works installing cable TV and Internet services. Most every day he comes home with a story about an apartment he's been in that day, where the place was empty except for giant Palestinian flags on the wall, elaborate rugs on the floor, and large-screen TVs tuned to some cleric screeching at the top of his lungs. The tenant usually has at least two computers ready to be hooked up with Internet. They do not speak to my husband, just point and explain, in the shortest terms possible, what they want done. My husband truly fears that these men order Internet services for malevolent, even evil, anti- American purposes. He has had his work truck broken into more than once by youths when in these neighborhoods of Minneapolis, which have been virtually taken over by Muslim stores and 'halal meat' grocers.

I have seen and heard anchors on different networks laugh and jeer at the idea of Muslims in our midwestern cities. I am very thankful to you, though more concerned than ever, to see you printing articles on this issue. The Somalis here have many advantages such as tax-payer funded rent adjustments, new car-payment subsidies, and many welfare programs. I know they are not all radicalized, but if even just 10 % of them are, we in MN have a real problem that our federal and state governments are ignoring due to Political Correctness. When Muslims roll out their prayer rugs in the middle of drug-store and shopping mall parking lots, causing accidents and near-misses- which happened to my 83 year-old Mother- and expect everyone to respect their rights, it is almost too much to be borne, particularly by elderly shoppers who cannot believe nor comprehend what they are seeing.

This immigration must stop. Many of these devout Muslims do not assimilate. They agitate for jihad, and many return to Somalia (or Pakistan, Afghanistan) for training. Why are we importing hostile invaders?

We should be importing whole Christian communities or Hindu communities, etc., that are living (and dying) under the boot of the sharia. This should be a presidential campaign platform item for Romney.

The sheriff of Hennepin County, Minn., told the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security on Wednesday about the threat of Somali gangs in his jurisdiction.

 “I have been asked to testify today about the specific emergence of Somali gang-related issues we are having in my county,” Rich Stanek said in his prepared testimony.

 Stanek represented the National Sheriffs’ Association at the hearing on “America’s Evolving Gang Threat.” He also serves on the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s inter-agency Threat Assessment and Coordination Group and is president of the Major County Sheriffs’ Association.

 Stanek said Minnesota is a “designated U.S. Refugee Resettlement Area,” with a Somali population ranging from 80,000 to 125,000 in the state. As a result, Stanek said, while the African population in the U.S. as a whole is about four percent, 18 percent of the Minnesota population is African because of the large Somali presence.

 Stanek said he wanted to “state for the record” that most Somalis are “law-abiding citizens” who contribute to the community, but those who have joined gangs are committing crimes across the state.

 “Somali gangs are unique in that they are not necessarily based on the narcotics trade as are other traditional gangs,” Stanek said, adding that “turf” is also not a motivating factor in Somali gang criminal activities.

 “Gang members will often congregate in certain areas, but commit their criminal acts elsewhere,” Stanek said. “Criminal acts are often done in a wide geographic area that stretches outside of the Twin Cities seven county metro area.           

 “Their mobility has made them difficult to track,” Stanek said.

 Stanek listed five “typical crimes” committed by Somali gang members, including credit card fraud, cell phone and gun store burglaries, and witness intimidation. The fifth type of criminal activity is tied to international terrorism, Stanek said.

“In 2007, the local Somali community started to report that some of the youth in the area had essentially disappeared without warning,” Stanek said. “It was later learned that 20 young men had left Minneapolis to travel to Somalia to receive training and fight as members of al- Shabaab.

“One individual had moved to Minneapolis as a teenager in 1993,” Stanek said. Following a shoplifting arrest, he fell into the violent street gang called the ‘Somali Hot Boyz.’ After a short period of time, he emerged as a recruiter for al-Shabaab, which eventually led him to leave Minneapolis for the Horn of Africa in 2008.

“Later, it was learned this individual was killed in fighting between al-Shabaab and Somali government forces,” Stanek said.

“We are clearly faced with a challenge that requires an innovative approach including new investigative tools and focused resources,” Stanek said.

According to the Health and Human Services’ Administration for Children and Families’ Office of Refugee and Resettlement, refugee programs and resettlement sites exist in 49 states and the District of Columbia and are operated through partnerships between the federal government and faith-based and other non-governmental refugee support organizations in those states and the District.

A spokesperson for the office told CNSNews.com that the United States admits on average about 70,000 refugees a year, with each required to be designated as individuals who face danger in their homeland. Every refugee has to be cleared by the Department of Homeland Security before being allowed to resettle in the United States, the spokesperson said.

 A wide range of considerations about where to relocate individuals is considered, including family ties, language and available resources, the spokesperson said. But once they are living in the United States, refugees are free to live anywhere in the country.

If you want European-style “cultural enrichment”, such as gay-free zones, Judenrein zones, blaring mosques, underground synagogues, honor killings, widespread hate speech, violence and terrorism and all the other wonderful benefits that come with the Religion of Peace, then by all means vote Democrat.
Oh, and that incidentally also ensures that there’s nothing you can do about it. Nor will anybody else. And forget about defending yourself, or your loved ones. Ist alles Verboten.

All Muslim immigration needs to stop. We need to deport any Muslims here already who are found guilty of felony level crimes. We need to deport any Muslims here who support terrorist organizations. Muslims are incapable of integrating into our culture and therefore have nothing of value to offer us. They need to leave and go elsewhere. Muslims, you are not wanted in the U.S. The leftist that are allowing you in have their day coming.

The Somali’s here in Denver have along with other Islamist, a stranglehold on the taxi and bus services. All but a very few are from Africa and the others are from the middle east. Their knowledge of the areais mystifing as they are now well informed as to where everything is. A sub note, with D.H.S. going touse drones and requesting more riot gear, just what has Obummer been planning if not a civil and religous war to destroy this country.

8 years ago, i got talking to a retired Doctors Practice nurse at the site of the old Woolwich Arsenal on the Thames in South London. She related to me how the Somali
patients in her practice would come in chewing khat, which they would then spit out on the floor, others with tuberculosis would do the same, when asked to stop this disgusting habit, the reply was “Shut up Bitch”, or sometimes “White Whore”.
After 18 months of this, this middle aged family woman resigned, taking early retirement. The behavioural issues of the Somalis were compounded by social workers, translaters, outreach workers, school teachers and staff at the benifits offices who all emphaised their “Value” to GB the Somalis “unjust” treatment from western countries and their “amazing” cultural contribution to British National life.
A short while after this conversation, three Somalis held up a travel agents in a Northern town, shot two unarmed police women, killing one, with the perp trying to leave Heathrow dressed in a black burka weeks later. The officer had a young family,
and as a way of showing it’s remorse, HMG under both Brown and Cameron have refused to outlaw importing Khat or it’s use, and have increased benifits and assistance to “Disadvantaged” families while building ever more houses and schools for their teeming families, which average 8 children.
The Met police are always pulling them over and frisking them for knives, drugs and guns, while the “Left” howl about police “Harrassment” of “Vulnerable” minorities.
Several have been involved in bomb plots. At least you guys can buy your daughters a weapon with a conceal and carry permit, and you should, because when you change the people, you change first the culture, then the country.

We have exactly the same problem with muslims here in Sweden and Europe. Political correctness rules the political debate and migrations laws in our country, with leftist journalists and politicians calling anyone racist who dare to oppose.
Immigrating muslims (especially somalis) recieve very beneficial welfare support, which ethnic swedes doesn’t. Unfortuneatly, very few people talk about this in the open, afraid to lose their job, friends etc by being called racist, facist, nazi and so on. It’s gone so far as some enlightened individuals has given up hope on Sweden and are planning to emigrate themselves. All by listening to the media saying “nothing to see here, move along” and as robberys, rapes etc continues to rise in a faster pace like never seen before.
Sweden needs the nationalism the americans are proud of!

Many Somalis were “resettled” in Fort Morgan Colorado. They are Muslim and their behavior is just as described above by others. If you have dogs and walk them or take them into stores with you, Muslims will curse and try to kick the dog. But authorities consider it politically incorrect to complain about Muslim behavior. These people are 7th century barbarians and expect to live that way in the US. Enough’s enough! Kick ’em out.

Muslim immigration must stop to the western world. Geert Wilders is completely right and his past statements come from intelligent consideration. Muslims bring horrors to society. Of course not all are like that, but the fact that (in general) at least 70% support Sharia law over the country’s own laws, is enough to understand that we have a growing problem.
The diversity visa is a huge problem because it allows terrorists to enter the U.S. The diversity Visa is very poorly constructed and allot available visas to each country according to PERCENTAGE. Since Muslim populations are huge the largest number of new immigrants to America, are Muslim! Its a mess and so dangerous to women and children. There has already been numerous cases where Muslim men have brutally attacked and raped women – after entering the country on a diversity Visa.
Americans are sadly much more unaware of different cultures than people are in Europe. They allow free flow of Indian immigrants (who are very similar to Muslims with honor crimes, terrorism, sexual assault etc) Muslim immigrants and African immigrants who ALL have shown to be a huge problem in western society. Both India and Africa have long standing Muslim population. Muslims make up 30% of the ENTIRE prison population in the UK. And that by being only 5% of the entire population… Indians have similar crime records, and Africans the same.

How hard is it to call the police, go back in the drugstore and complain, or tell the Muslims to get off their rugs in the parking lots? The old people could get in their cars, lock the doors and roll up the windows, and just drive up to these people lying on rugs in the parking lot and honk their horns. They have no business being there and if they don’t like it, the old people should call on the cell phones to the police about them making a disturbance in the parking lot at the same time.
YOU have to start somewhere in asserting your rights. If you just keep standing by in shock, they are going to keep walking all over you until they have walked you into the dirt. They are just going way to far and they do it because they are allowed to get away with it. People spitting tb infused whatever on the floor in the clinics should be told to get out. That is a threat to public health. These people are all around out of line.
Every time I go in a city and don’t see those Muslims in women hating gear, I breathe a sigh of relief. They need to be made to feel uncomfortable here because they don’t want to allow us to enjoy our lives in comfort. Their presence is just a threat to our way of life. I notice with the cabs also that at least in one city, they feel free to not even take you anywhere. I wondered why they thought they could refuse to drive you across town like a mile between train stations. I only saw that they were black, but maybe they were actually Muslim and thought that would be a good jihad move to leave someone to walk alone at night in an unsafe area.
If someone is rude in a cab, call the taxi and limo commision, get their car number or license number and complain. People need to stand up for their rights and stop allowing these terrorists to walk all over us. I don’t know where you can’t just get another cab if some guy is cursing at you for no reason. Why should people put up with that behavior? There are porters at airports who maybe can call a cab for you.

bb, you are very hopeful. But the problem is that you have nowhere to turn to make these complaints as the police will not do anything. Should you try and intimidate Muslims with honking at them etc they come after you, often with violence.
The whole issue has to start with decision and policy makers, and by us complaining to authorities to demand them to change the way they handle complaints against Muslims, and assure they will take action.

Many years ago, the UK completely eradicated TB – now it is back in a far more virulent form which no amount of anti-biotics can cure. Is it any wonder when these 7th century barbarians are living amongst us?
I am glad I was born in the 40’s and grew up in a relatively safe, harmonious society. Sure there was the usual anti-semitism, but nothing compared with these muslimes who crave world domination – it is a sick world and is only likely to get worse, much worse. G- help us all.

Here in Maine, Catholic Charities of Maine has brought in thousands of Somalis and put them right on welfare and get them cash for vehicles. They have become a big problem. Crime has gone way up. Sudanese people have settled here and they and the Somalis detest each other.
The Portland schools have been told hands off. If there’s a problem, the teacher is disciplined. The cops have been told to let the elders handle things first.
They deal drugs right out in the open.
I don’t know if many of you will remember a few years ago, Portland, ME public schools, (more specifically a nurse who’s husband is a liberal politician) proposed giving middle school girls birth control pills. Girls as young as 11. Without parental notification or permission. A teacher in the system told us it was really aimed at the Somalians because the girls were still living as they had in Somalia and getting pregnant by the time they were 13 or so. The Somalis don’t want to adjust to American culture.
Oh, a few of the younger people do, but not many.

After reading these comments, I see I’m not alone in being alarmed. I read an article today about the DOJ refusing to answer 4 times a question about the exercise of free speech about religions becoming a criminal act. DOJ wonder guy refused to answer. Just like Carney refused to answer that the capital of Israel is Jerusalem. Well, if Christianity and Jesus’ Crucifiction is offensive or blasphemous to Muslims, it’s called “tough sh*t” I was in Rome last month, and I can tell you that the Muslims there have absolutely NO PROBLEM for their disdain for Americans. If it’s a holy war they want, they better be careful what they wish for. That’s my unimportant two cents. Thanks Pam for dogging this issue, and for keeping prominent officials involved.

Why is it that something is as plain as the nose of your face, people refuse to talk about about it, let alone acknowledge the problem?
Here in Holland we have the same problem. Indeed, the Somali’s have a bad reputation over here for being fresh and hostile. Sure, not all Somali’s (look at Ayaan Hirshi Ali) and not all muslims etc. But the fact is: about ten years ago I moved to Rotterdam, a big city here. This was the first time I felt a minority. Now that in itself is no problem, but when the majority is openly hostile to western values, it is. Nowadays, more than half of Rotterdam is non-ethnic Dutch and this city has the largest group that is on welfare. I don’t live there anymore, but hearing the stories I hear (even in the mass media!) I don’t see how this city is going to recover from it.
Isn’t it weird, though? In Holland we have a history of different cultures blending in (Chinese, people from Dutch Antilles, people from Indonesia) and we never had real problems with them. Well, some people from the Antilles do pop up often in crime statistics, that’s true, but they aren’t anti-western and are blending in gradually. Only people from islamic countries have the habit of retaining their customs in full and demand privileges from the system.
We do have many Hindu’s here, I reckon about 300.000 (on a population of 17 million) and only last year a Hindu organisation made the proposal of building a (large) Hindu temple. Of course they do have several smaller temples, but they don’t stand out and are, I must say, a pretty sight for sour eyes. But the point is: we do not have trouble with Hindu’s AT ALL! They have their thing and don’t bother anyone with it.
Islam is different, it turns out. As Pamela would characterize it: it’s the ideology, stupid! And it is. An ideology that is rooted in the culture, their way of thinking and their behavior. Many muslims don’t want to integrate and only demand privileges for their “faith.” That’s the problem.
I guess the REAL question is: why import whole muslim communities? What’s there to gain for us? The only valid criteria should be: 1/ Is there imminent danger and can the subject not get refugee status closer to his/ her home country? 2/ Is the subject educated in fields where there is a shortage? 3/ Does the subject have family or friends to turn to and has he / she a good prospect on a job?
That’s it. Otherwise it’s like saying: Okay, we need another member for our football team. Don’t play football? Doesn’t matter, as long as we are complete. One happy family!
We must wake up and become sensible again.
