Candidate Itamar Gelbman: “Defund the UN”

A rare one this Itamar Gelbman is; I previously endorsed him here. Gelbman is calling for the defunding of the UN. And right he is. Sixty years ago, democracies, both nascent and well established, comprised the majority of the founding nations of the UN. The members of the General Assembly were strategically aligned primarily along what would become the lines of the Cold War. America was confident that the UN would be an organization that would work in tandem with American national interests in promoting the welfare of humankind and the basic rights of every human spirit.

That. never. happened.

The UN is driven by the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation), the largest bloc of countries at the UN, and they vote as one. The OIC represents 56 countries plus the Palestinian Authority. It claims also to represent Muslim immigrants — the “Diaspora” — in Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia. It is pan-Islamic: It seeks to unify and lead the world’s 1.3 billion Muslims. In a manual first published in 2001, “Strategy of Islamic Cultural Action in the West,” the OIC asserts that “Muslim immigrant communities in Europe are part of the Islamic nation.”

Bat Ye'or, world's leading authority on Islam in the West, has said that the OIC is nothing less than a "'would-be, universal caliphate.' It might look different from the caliphates of the Ottomans, Fatimids, and Abbasids. It might resemble, instead, a thoroughly modern trans-national bureaucracy. But, already, the OIC exercises significant power through the United Nations, and through the European Union, which has been eager to accommodate the OIC while simultaneously endowing the U.N. with increasing authority for global governance. Among the other organizations that Ye’or says are doing the OIC’s bidding are the U.N. Alliance of Civilizations, the U.N. Commission on Human Rights, and the European Parliamentary Association for Euro-Arab Cooperation (PAEAC)."

The multi-billion-dollar UN system was once largely closed to NGOs (non governmental organizations) as the private playing fields of member states. But NGOs have now found their way into the most intimate recesses of the UN. The OIC and its Muslim member states have found it extremely useful to operate through these "partners" or proxies. And there is a more terrible aspect to the UN-NGO nexus than the rise of these obvious interlopers in the NGO circles. It is the large number of NGOs that have been empowered by UN-accreditation to spread Jew-hatred and to encourage terrorism from a UN platform. The call for boycotts and sanctions against Israel is a central plank of this campaign.

Claudia Rosett, expert on the UN, and the award-winning journalist who broke the largest theft in human history, oil for food, has said this: the UN does not "distinguish between democracy and dictatorship, good and bad. And the enemy is getting worse."

The UN charter is a big lie and things built on big lies  tend to work to extremely damaging effects.The charter proposes Power without Law. There is no higher authority. It is a law of its own.

It is corrupt by its very nature……….. And it's a universe unto itself."

A Frank Luntz poll commissioned by the Hudson Institute back in 2006 showed that a majority of respondents expressed doubts about the effectiveness of the United Nations and embraced scenarios under which the organization would be "scrapped altogether." Luntz characterized the results as showing that Americans are "one scandal away from washing their hands" of the U.N. and that the issue could tip a future presidential election.

Dear Fellow Patriot,

Over the last few months I have been asked numerous times what my stance is regarding the U.N.

I will fight to defund the U.N. and withdraw our membership from it Councils.

Why?

Because the UN is a corrupt and powerful bureaucracy that is funded by American taxpayer dollars that time and time again support policies that go against the American people.

The U.N. is lead by countries such as Syria, Lebanon, Iran, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Cuba and other corrupt countries. The U.N. has supported terrorism, and it has diverted billions of American taxpayer dollars to corrupt and Islamocentric regimes such as Saddam Hussain's Iraq, Egypt, Libya and Saudi Arabia.

Here are some facts to support my position:

* Contributions from the USA make up approximately 22% of the U.N.’s budget (over $ 7 billion annually). The U.N. consistently votes against our country's needs and requests.

* The U.N. program “oil for food” ran from 1995 to 2003. It was supposed to provide $15 billion a year to feed the Iraqi people, Instead billions of dollars went straight to the pockets of Saddam
Hussein and other corrupt Russian and French politicians.
 

* In Egypt, the  U.N.'s Declaration of Human Rights stated that "All the rights and freedoms stipulated in this Declaration are subject to the Islamic Sharia law." 

* In 2007 a series of drawings  by Swedish artist Lars Vilks depicted the Islamic prophet Muhammad as a cartoon. This incited riots, death threats, and killings. The U.N.’s response to these terrorist attacks was to call for a ban on the defamation of religion, ignoring Lars Vilks's right of free speech.
 

* The U.N. has never responded to the burning of American flags, calls for terrorism against the U.S.A and to other actions against Judea-Christian principles.

* In 2012 The U.N. Human Rights council sent a team to inspect human rights violation in Israel (which is the ONLY country in the Middle East that gives equal rights to Jews, Christians, Muslims and others) At the same time, Christians were being massacred in Egypt just for being Christians, and thousands were massacred in Syria just because they wanted an election. Needless to say that neither Egypt or Syria were inspected and/ or condemned for these brutal killing fueled by religious hate and racism.

* The U.N.’s resolutions reward terrorists. In November 1974, shortly after Yasser Arafat and his terrorist organization the Palestine Liberation Organization murdered scores of Israeli schoolchildren and three American diplomats, The U.N. passed resolutions in his support.

* In 1975, on the 37th anniversary of Kristallnacht, the pogrom against German Jews, The U.N passed Resolution 3379, which defined Zionism as a form of racism.

* In 2011 the U.S. opposed allowing the Palestinian Authority to join the U.N. Although we contribute substantially more money (over 7 Billion dollars a year) than the combined contributions of the counties that support Palestine, America's requests were ignored and the Palestinian Authority joined U.N. Councils!

* The Human Rights Council is a part of the U.N. This council is supposedly responsible for the "promotion and protection of human right around the globe." Member countries in this Council include: Iran, Sudan, Cuba, China, Zimbabwe, Saudi Arabia, and North Korea. All these countries support terrorism and violate human rights as a matter of policy!

The question, then, is not how do we fix the U.N., but why do we continue to spend U.S. taxpayer dollars, $7.7 billion annually to be exact, on an institution filled with countries hostile to us and working against American interests.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely!

O.I.C.-Organization of the islamic Caliphate (not co-operation)………….all of North America OUT of the UN NOW!

The UN is one of the biggest wastes of tax payer money. This country should defund UN and order it off the valuable land its sitting on.

I like the idea of defunding the UN. But I have a better idea — lower our contribution to whatever the value of the UN building is, along with the acreage it sits on. Let the UN meet there for free, and that will be our contribution.
Kind of like when a wino asks you for money because he wants to buy “food”; and instead of giving him money, you buy him some food.
With no US dollars flowing into the UN, it will be very entertaining to watch the circus every day.
But we definitely should keep our permanent seat on the UN security council. AND GET AN AMBASSADOR WHO WILL ACTUALLY FIGHT FOR US INTERESTS!

It’s amazing how US citizens are being used by their government to fund islamofascism.
I can’t remember any of our corrupt politicians asking the citizens of the US (well, at least the non-muslimes) if they wanted to be paying jizya to their muslime masters.
