Huffington Post’s Pro-Sharia Jaweed Kaleem Shills for Hamas-Linked ICNA’s $3,000,000 Pro-Sharia Propaganda Campaign

5

Jaweed Kaleem, a notorious pro-sharia propagandist, is peddling his poison at The Huffington Post, and they are only to happy to accommodate the subversive rhetoric. The Puff Ho pimping for the most radical and extreme ideology on the face of the earth.

Why did the Puff Ho have the painfully biased Kaleem write about this? Why not Spencer or Yerushalmi? Atlas readers are quite familiar with Jaweed Kaleem. Back in April 2010, Jaweed Kaleem railed against our pro-freedom bus ads designed to save the lives of Muslims. He wrote a series of articles in support of the sharia for apostasy. Anyone who opposed our save a life bus ads was advocating for the sharia.

Dissembling is an occupational hazard for Kaleem. In his typical dishonest fashion, Jaweed equates sharia law with Jewish law. Jewish law is voluntary. Canon law is voluntary. Sharia asserts authority over non-Muslims and is also political in nature. Robert Spencer explains, "Jewish law doesn’t force itself on anyone, unlike Islamic law. The Quran says that 'there is no compulsion in religion,' but there is compulsion in Islamic law – unlike Jewish law. And Jewish law doesn’t assert authority over non-Jews, while Islamic law does assert authority over non-Muslims. It didn’t deal honestly with the fact that Islamic law is a comprehensive political program at variance with democratic freedoms."

  • In Sharia, a woman's testimony is half that of a man (Qur'an 2:282),
  • There are double standards in women's ability to get out of a marriage,
  • The Qur'an endorses wife-beating (4:34),
  • The Sharia mandates the death penalty for apostasy
  • The Sharia mandates the subjugation of non-Muslims, and more. The ICNA presentation is a complete whitewash.

ICNA is a Muslim Brotherhood group, according to a captured internal document of the Brotherhood. Muslim Brotherhood groups in America are trying to norm Sharia, mainstream Sharia. The Muslim Brotherhood group ICNA needs to lie to Americans about Sharia and advance a false narrative about the most extreme and radical ideology on the face of the earth. Period. They don't want Americans to know the truth that the gendercide of honor killings, the clitorectomies, the stonings, and the 1,400 years of cultural annihilations and enslavements are all Sharia-mandated.

Sharia Law Campaign Begins As Muslim Group Fights Bans Jaweed Kaleem

After heated debates in two dozen states over banning Sharia law, the legal code of Islam, a national Islamic group is beginning a multi-million dollar effort to explain how Sharia applies to the lives of American Muslims.

The Islamic Circle of North America, a Hartford, Conn.-based group, is spending $3 million on its Defending Religious Freedom campaign, which begins Friday and explains Sharia law and common misunderstandings to everyday Americans.

The effort includes billboards, TV and radio ads in 25 major cities, including New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, in addition to town hall meetings and seminars on university campuses led by Muslim academics and activists. Each directs audiences to a website and manned hotline, 1-855-Shariah.

The campaign is a response to efforts to ban Sharia law over the last two years in state legislatures and on ballot initiatives, said Naeem Baig, vice president of public affairs for Islamic Circle of North America. Republican presidential candidates also have raised the Sharia debate.

Tennessee, Louisiana and Arizona have passed laws banning judges from consulting Sharia, or more generally, foreign or religious laws. Oklahoma voters approved a ban on Sharia law in 2010, but a judge blocked the rule after a Muslim man filed a religious freedom lawsuit. Legislatures in South Carolina and Florida are considering anti-Sharia bills.

"It's a small minority of Islamophobes that are pushing the anti-Sharia bills, but it's becoming mainstream. Now, even presidential hopefuls like Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum are talking about Sharia," said Baig. "We see it not only an issue of Sharia but an issue of broader religious freedom."

Sharia law attacks come mostly from those fearing radical Muslims are introducing extreme interpretations of Islamic law, such as those practiced in Afghanistan under the Taliban, into American society.

Baig said comments by Gingrich helped spur the campaign. The GOP contender said in South Carolina in January that he would support a Muslim-American president only if that person denounced Sharia. In a 2010 speech in Washington he summarized the anti-Sharia movement: "Stealth jihadis use political, cultural, societal, religious, intellectual tools" as a way to "replace Western civilization with a radical imposition of Sharia,” Gingrich said.

Sharia law guides Islamic life, from praying five times a day to fasting during the holy month of Ramadan and abstaining from pork, alcohol and sex outside of marriage. Sharia has also been cited as a justification for violent, sometimes deadly punishments for minor crimes in majority-Muslim countries, including Saudi Arabia.

The Defending Religious Freedom website says "American Muslims do not seek to have Sharia penal laws introduced in the U.S." and are more interested in the role of Sharia in "praying, fasting and alms-giving, as well as divorce, burials and inheritance."

That lines up with how religious laws, including Jewish and Islamic ones, are already interpreted in U.S. courts when it comes to marriage, divorce, wills and estate contracts, said Marc Stern, an expert in religious law at the American Jewish Committee.

"Judges aren't really having any trouble at at all" when religious laws and secular laws conflict, Stern said. Judges have refused the requests of Orthodox Jews to enforce laws on religious divorce, for example. In a case from 2007, a Muslim man in Maryland cited religious law when he wanted to give almost nothing to his wife upon divorce. The court refused to recognize the religious law and said the couple had to divide their "marital property," including the husband's pension of $1 million and the couples' properties valued at more than $1 million.

"From a public relations perspective, I think this campaign may be a mistake," said Stern. "All this campaign may do it provide ammunition to the other side."

Billboards will go up in 25 cities, including New York, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, Boston, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Washington, D.C, Atlanta, Miami, New Jersey, Detroit and Hartford. The image above, provided by the Islamic Circle of North America, shows how the billboards will look.

The Defending Religious Freedom campaign began quietly last month in San Francisco and Kansas City. It has already stirred local backlash. Stop the Islamization of Nations, a group led by conservative New York-based activist Pamela Geller, has purchased anti-Sharia billboards in Kansas City. Geller says on her blog, Atlas Shrugs, her group will launch anti-Sharia billboards and radio ads in other cities.

Mohamed Magid, the president of the nation's largest Islamic umbrella group, the Islamic Society of North America, applauded the Islamic Circle of North America's "Defending Religious Freedom" title, but said the word Sharia tends to be misunderstood.

Magid, Muslim Brotherhood madam.

Defending religious freedom is rather narrow in its scope. Defending islamic freedom, yes, Coptic Christian freedom, no, Jewish freedom, no, Baha’i, no, etc. The organization for the sake of clarity be renamed `Defending Islamic Religious Intolerance’.borg Saying this will get the usual suspects at Crazy Council of Anti-American Islamic Radicals in a hissy fit, the truth like sunlight to a vampire does burn.

Utopia Planitia: An Examination of the Shari’a Code
If you go to a moderate Muslim country – by definition – where people are arrested for leaving Islam and not put to death – it looks like the whole society has been put on hold – around the enforcement of personal restrictions – being placed over what is possible for the individual to do.
It’s more than the subjugation of women or horrendous treatment of non-Muslims – that are the products of these laws – it shuts down the society’s ability to advance. It freezes it in the same place – for what seems to be hundreds of years behind.
Its why Muslims – particularly from the oil-poor regions are motivated – to do anything – marry anybody – to get out of the Islamic world – and into the west – because the restrictions on personal freedoms and denial of rights – under the Shari’a – has failed to its hype.
Remember Muslims used to gain their wealth from conquest – but without these – it becomes a hibernating ode to the belief. The focus becomes the feathering of Islam – in the hopes that the prosperity and advancements – such as were brought by the conquests – will automatically spring from it.
Hence, the prevalence of dictators who prey on their willingness to relinquish basic freedoms – and hence the revolutions and counter-revolutions – of people seeking relief from these extreme controls – only to fall into them again and again – based on their absolute faith in the rewards that Shari’a can bring them.
Art, music, expression, free-thought and science all have their wings clipped – by the Sharia’s code of practise.
This utopian ideology for society is dangerous on so many levels.
