“Tea Party, Muslims Clash Before Daytona Beach Convention”

8

Such stupidity is without equal.  Check out this article from the Sunshine State News on the Tea party/CAIR kerfuffle over my appearance at the Florida State Tea party convention. Note, the not so sunny Sunshine State News  never asked me for comment but CAIR’s Hassan Shibley was given ample opportunity to comment. And their headline is egregious, “Tea Party, Muslims Clash Before Daytona Beach Convention.” Nonsense. This be more accurate: Tea Party rejects Hamas-Tied Group.

The Tea Party convention invited me to speak, and I accepted. I have no idea if CAIR sent letters to Florida elected officials, or if any of them wrote to CAIR. CAIR sent out a press release saying that Rubio and Scott would not be participating because of me. This was false, as actually neither of them had ever confirmed. See the Tea Party’s statement here.

For reasons that defy logic, The Tea Party then invited Shibly. I immediately withdrew because I did not want to legitimize CAIR or any Hamas/Muslim Brotherhood group. The Tea Party then disinvited Shibly. I relented and agreed to speak after CAIR was disinvited. That is the story.

A number of elected officials and candidates have decided not to participate. CAIR’s Hassan Shibly contends that at least some of them likely were scared off by the controversy. Here Shibly is lying yet again. The politicians decided not to participate before this controversy began. More on that here.

Story continues below advertisement

Who is Hassan Shibley?  According to IPT: Hassan Shibly has a track record of defending terrorist groups and acting as an apologist for militant Islam. Following the 2006 Israel-Lebanon War, Shibly granted legitimacy to Hizballah by characterizing it as a “resistance movement” that provides valued social services to the Lebanese people. “They’re absolutely not a terrorist organization,” Shibly said, and “any war against them is illegitimate” moe on that here.

CAIR has a long record of duplicity and deception. Although it has received millions of dollars in donations from foreign Islamic entities, it has not registered as a foreign agent as required by the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), despite spreading Islamic supremacist propaganda within the United States.
Although it presents itself as a civil rights group, CAIR actually has numerous links to Islamic supremacist and jihad terror groups. CAIR founders Omar Ahmad and Niwad Awad (who still serves as CAIR’s executive director) were present at a Hamas planning meeting in Philadelphia in 1993 where they and other Hamas operatives conspired to raise funds for Hamas and to promote jihad in the Middle East. CAIR has steadfastly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups.
Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror:

* Ghassan Elashi, founder of CAIR’s Texas chapter, in 2009 received a 65-year prison sentence for funneling over $12 million from the Islamic charity known as the Holy Land Foundation to the jihad terrorist group Hamas, which is responsible for murdering hundreds of Israeli civilians
* Mousa Abu Marzook, a former CAIR official, was designated by the U.S. government in 1995 as a “terrorist and Hamas leader.” He now is a Hamas leader in Syria.
* Randall Royer, CAIR’s former civil rights coordinator, in 2004 began serving a 20-year prison sentence for aiding al-Qaida and the Taliban against American troops in Afghanistan and recruiting for Lashkar e-Taiba, the jihadist group responsible for the 2008 Mumbai jihad massacres.
* Bassem Khafagi, CAIR’s former community relations director, was arrested for involvement with the Islamic Assembly of North America, which was linked to al-Qaida. After pleading guilty to visa and bank fraud charges, Khafagi was deported.
* Rabih Haddad, a former CAIR fundraiser, was deported for his work with the Global Relief Foundation (which he co-founded), a terror-financing organization.
In 1998 Omar Ahmad, CAIR’s co-founder and longtime Board Chairman, said: “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.”
After he received unwelcome publicity as a result of this statement, Ahmad denied saying it, several years after the fact. However, the original reporter, Lisa Gardiner of the Fremont Argus, stands by her story.
CAIR’s spokesman Ibrahim Hooper once said: “I wouldn’t want to create the impression that I wouldn’t like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future.”

Shibly, the jihadi invitee, was unimpressed with the tea party’s rescission.

“They are, in effect, brainwashing their audience and depriving them of an opportunity to make informed choices,” he said. He contends that denying him a chance to speak is the “height of hypocrisy” from  a group that espouses Constitutional freedoms of speech and assembly.

More Islamic lies. CAIR has a platform everywhere. They are the go-to Muslim group for the media. They are welcome in any hotel in which they want to hold a conference. Their message is out everywhere. Meanwhile, they follow us around and try to get our speaking engagements and conferences canceled. They are desperate that we not get our message out. My talk at the Tea Party will be one of the few places where you can hear the truth. CAIR doesn’t need yet another platform for its lies.

Tea Party, Muslims Clash Before Daytona Beach Convention Sunshine State News

Controversy over an on-again, off-again speaking invitation to a Muslim group has spiced a tea party convention set for this weekend in Daytona Beach.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations complained to convention planners when it learned that Pam Geller, a prolific critic of radical Islam, was on the speaker list. One of the organizers then proffered an invitation to give CAIR equal time.

“We accepted only after guaranteeing we would receive (the) same treatment and respect as other speakers and that ‘Muslim-bashing would not be tolerated,’” said Hassan Shibly, Tampa executive director of CAIR Florida.

More Islamic lies and smears. Watch my speeches, there is never “Muslim bashing.” We are counter jihad, they are pro-jihad.

But amid continued jousting over the program and the ground rules, simmering suspicions boiled over, with Geller threatening to pull out.

Pam Dahl, the chief convention organizer and head of the Tri-County Tea Party, told Sunshine State News on Wednesday that Geller is in and CAIR is off the agenda.

“This was never my intention,” Dahl said of the CAIR invitation, which was extended by fellow organizer Geoff Ross.

Ross said he wanted to offer CAIR “equal opportunity” to air its views. “But when a CAIR leader in Washington called Geller ‘a ranter’ and ‘a liar,’ this was clearly not the intention of my invitation,” he said.

“If you’re not going to show restraint and respect to our speakers, then I will disinvite,” Ross related.

Shibly, the jilted invitee, was unimpressed with the tea party’s rescission.

“They are, in effect, brainwashing their audience and depriving them of an opportunity to make informed choices,” he said.

Confusion over a shifting speaker lineup has dogged the convention, which is scheduled to run Friday through Sunday at the Volusia County Ocean Center.

The convention website initially listed Gov. Rick Scott, Sen. Marco Rubio and Attorney General Pam Bondi as speakers. But Sunshine State News has confirmed that none of them will be attending.

The paper neglects to inform that they were “invited” but had never confirmed attendance.

The site continues to prominently advertise presidential and U.S. Senate “debates,” but none of the candidates in those races has confirmed their attendance.

“We’re trying to get Herman Cain in from Texas,” Dahl said.

In addition to Geller, Dahl said, headline speakers will include Faith and Freedom Coalition leader Ralph Reed, Tea Party Patriots co-chair Jenny Beth Martin and radio talk-show host Laura Ingraham.

Dahl estimated attendance between 1,000 and 1,500.

Wow, I knew it all along. Now Pamela is called a “headliner.” Can’t wait ’til she does Vegas. I can see her name in lights – at Caesar’s Palace. Stage presence, charisma, talent, looks, and brains – the dame’s got it all. Cool. The world’s catchin’ on, if she could make it in Na Yark, she can make it anywhere.

When we get our country back, the first thing that has to happen is that CAIR, an unindicted co conspirator needs to be indicted and then dismantled. No more Muslim emigration to the US. The existing Muslims in the USA under strict surveillance and penalties for co-operation/involvement with terrorism. AND deportation and stripping of US citizenship for those who are involved with terrorism/sedition. If they don’t want to go, strap a parachute on them, tie to a static line a drop them out over their country of origin. Strict control of mosque building.
AND NO MORE SAUDI/ARAB oil. Between the gulf, Canada,Alaska, our oil sands and alternative fuel WE WILL MAKE DO.

Well, I’m not about to give a serious estimate because the raw numbers leave out the dates in history for the major slaughters. Was it closer to 632AD when the world population was not much more than that of the USA today? Was it closer to 1500 AD with a world population of under 700 million? Was it after that date?
Then consider that 270 million people over 1400 years is a bit under 200,000 per year. That’s major slaughter but not as dramatic sounding as the raw 270 million.
If the number was higher, say 350 million that would be about 250,000 per year. And we’re still down in the noise with regards to world population. But that is a high number of deaths year in and year out. It would take serious military effort year in and year out to achieve it. Thus the numbers could be a lot bigger and not noticed to the world at large as much as it might have been. And they could be a lot lower if that large a military effort
But then spread the population around the world. Don’t forget the Aztecs had a significant population in the new world. But the main concentrations were Europe, China, and India. The latter is where major slaughters took place. Africa is another. And it’s population seems to have been lower so the slaughter there would have a larger impact, likely leading to their more backwards state today.
I’d treat 270 million as a very fuzzy number and equally likely to be 140 million as 350 million. And that’s at best a one sigma number. I’d be a little surprised at figures well outside that range.
