SIOA Book Review: “I have found my American Fallaci: Pamela Geller”

Fantastico!

I am overwhelmed with Jim Fletcher's review of my just-released primer for patriots: "Stop the Islamization of America"

Shariah invasion can be ignored no more WND.com

One of the things I enjoy most is learning from sophisticated people who are far removed from my background and environment, people like Oriana Fallaci and David Bar-Illan.

I was reminded recently of Fallaci, the Italian journalist who was courageous enough – and discerning enough – to see the gathering dangers from Islam. Fallaci wrote about it ("The Rage and the Pride" and "The Force of Reason"). Oriana Fallaci cared little for the long literary knives her critics produced and, apparently, did not worry much about real knives, either. Sometimes, unusually courageous people can point the way for the rest of us.

Unfortunately, Fallaci died in 2006.

But I have found my American Fallaci: Pamela Geller.

Geller, co-founder (with the wonderful Robert Spencer) of Freedom Defense Initiative, has written a must-have new book, "Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance." I read it in one sitting. It is like breathing clean air after being trapped in a burning building.

Geller's blog, Atlas Shrugs, is a study in vigilance. Geller is so concerned about people understanding the creeping threat of Shariah law that she has devoted a good bit of her life to sounding the alarm. "Stop the Islamization of America" will prove to be a watershed book, I do believe.

I pre-ordered my book back in July, when I knew you had written it, and when I was informed that there would be a delay in getting it shipped to me, I bought a copy for the free PC version of Kindle on my computer so I can read it RIGHT NOW!

I remember listening to Oriana Fallaci 23 years ago I found her facinating but did not have a clue what she was talking about. I recently reread her books and have so much respect and gratitude for her courage. I was primed to hear what Pamela was saying and saw the truth and value very quickly. Pamela you are our guiding light we watch and listen to you and it inspires us to do more be more and do more in this fight against pure ignorance and evil. Can never thank you enough you are always in my prayers. Carol
