Pamela Geller, American Thinker: King Blew It

King Blew it Pamela Geller, American Thinker

Story continues below advertisement

Investor's Business Daily editorialized Monday that Congressman Peter King (R-NY) "blew it" in his hearings on "Muslim radicalization," and that he "didn't even come close to delivering what he advertised with his investigation." IBD criticized King for calling as a witness Muslim Congressman Hakim Muhammad akak Keith Ellison (D-MN), a "close ally" of the Hamas-linked Islamic supremacist hate group the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Ellison, says the IBD editorial, "stole the show when he broke into tears while retelling the story of a Muslim paramedic who died in the World Trade Center.  Ellison used the victim as an example of the "witch hunt" against Muslims in America by claiming he was falsely accused of involvement in the 9/11 plot."

It gives me no pleasure to be right, again. But I wrote on January 18 that King was over his head. I criticized King for calling Ellison and not terror expert Steven Emerson or Islamic expert Robert Spencer, and wrote: "Minnesota Congressman Keith Ellison, infamous for his pro-Hamas ralliesand his pilgrimage to the Hajj in Saudi Arabia, paid for by the Muslim Brotherhood, is testifying, but Emerson and Spencer aren't? What can King achieve?"

All this has been proven correct. The entire enemedia coverage was all about Muslim Brotherhood-linked Congressman Hakim Mohammed (aka Keith Ellison)'s bawling and crocodile tears over a fictitious tale. Hakim claimed that the Muslim paramedic killed on 9/11 was accused of terror ties when he went missing after that day, until his remains were found. In fact, the only mentions anywhere of his being accused of terror ties are in leftwing publications criticizing the right for these accusations – but there is no record of anyone on the right ever actually making the accusations.

Also, the media never reported that Hakim Mohammed's hajj was paid for with $13,350 by the Brotherhood, that Hakim was a vocal supporter of the vile Louis Farrakhan, or that Hakim has long time ties Muslim Brotherhood and is a vocal pro-Hamas supporter. King's hearings should have been designed to expose stealth jihadists like Hakim, aka Ellison. But they fell far short of that.

The Muslim victims who testified were the tip of the iceberg, and don't get me started on Jasser.

et King, for all his failures, looks great compared to Barack Hussein Obama.  Obama has enabled Islamic supremacist infiltration at the highest levels.  Arif Alikhan, Assistant Secretary for Policy Development at the Department of Homeland Security, is affiliated with the Brotherhood-linked Muslim Public Affairs Council, and as deputy mayor of Los Angeles, quashed as "Islamophobic" an LAPD initiative simply to survey the demographics of area mosques.

Rashad Hussain, Obama's envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference, characterized the Bush Administration's prosecution of Islamic Jihad leader Sami al-Arian as a witchhunt.

Dalia Mogahed, Obama's chief Muslim adviser, has praised Sharia law on British television, on a show run by the Islamic supremacist group Hizb ut-Tahrir, which is banned in many countries.

But in the age of Obama, we are not merely infiltrated, no…that is so five years ago. They are running the show. Yes, the enemy is in control. Obama confirmed that in March 2011 with one of his most egregious acts of submission to Islam.  As Congressman Peter King (R-NY) began his hearings on the radicalization of Muslims in the United States, the Obama Administration issued a statement saying: "We know there are many different reasons why individuals — from many different faiths == succumb to terrorist ideologies."

What other faiths? It is only Islam that has inspired a terrorist ideology, as demanded, commanded by the Qur'an, Hadith and Sira. For Obama to pretend otherwise is madness. Yet on March 6, 2011, Obama's Deputy National Security Adviser, Denis McDonough, gave a speech at the ADAMS Center, a mosque in Sterling, Virginia. WorldNet Daily reported in February 2008 "Another D.C.-area mosque, the ADAMS Center, was founded and financed by members of the Muslim Brotherhood, and has been one of the top distributors of Wahhabist anti-Semitic and anti-Christian dogma."

Also, Imam Mohamed Magidis the President of the Islamic Society of North America. ISNA has admitted ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas, and is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case.

Ignorant of or indifferent to all this, McDonough said at the ADAMS Center that Islamic jihadists "falsely claim to be fighting in the name of Islam," and that "we're exposing the lie that America and Islam are somehow in conflict.  That is why President Obama has stated time and again that the United States is not and never will be at war with Islam." McDonough also said: "We also undermine al Qaeda's ideology by exposing the lie that it is somehow defending Islamic traditions when, in fact, al Qaeda violates the basic tenets of Islam."

Yet there have been over 15,000 Islamic jihad attacks around the world since 9/11, each one carried out with the imprimatur of a Muslim cleric. Just in the last few years, we have seen two Muslims in New Jersey found guilty of going jihad and plotting to kill Americans; the Christmas day underwear bomber on an airplane over Detroit, the Times Square jihad bomber, the Weapons of Mass Destruction bomber in Texas, the Fort Hood jihadi, the Christmas-tree lighting bomber in Portland, Oregon, jihadi pirates off the coast of Somalia, the jihad in Thailand, Hezb'allah's jihad in Lebanon, Islamic slaughter of Christians in Egypt, jihad murder in Ethiopia, Indonesia, Russia, and so many other places. Everywhere there are Muslims, there is a level of conflict.

“And what does Peter King hope to achieve by sugarcoating the problem we face?”
Pamela, the real question that should be asked is ‘why is Peter King sugarcoating the problems we face?”
The answer: You can’t dance with the devil and expect to to just walk away. In Mr. King’s case, the devil is his long term habit of playing kissy-face with another terrorist group; The Irish Republican Army and its political wing, Sein Fein.
It’s rather timely that you published this article on this day, St. Patrick’s Day celebrating all things Hibernian and Celtic(I always thought it was a celebration remembering the man who brought Christianity to a pagan nation, not an excuse for wearing green, getting drunk, and screaming, ‘I’m fookin’ Irish!!!’ to all of your friends. This day has become the ugly face of tribalism, anti-Christian ethno-centrism, and hyphenated anti-Americanism that Peter King has been playing around with through his current support for the IRA and by hosting Sein Fein Gerry Adams numerous times. He still performs all sorts of mental and ethical contortions rationalizing his support for IRA terrorism vis-a-vis Islamic terrorism;
“King, son of a New York City police officer and grand-nephew of an IRA member, was profoundly affected by the 9/11 attacks on his hometown, New York City, and rejects any comparisons between the IRA and al-Qaeda. “I understand why people who are misinformed might see a parallel,” he told the Times. “The fact is, the IRA never attacked the United States. And my loyalty is to the United States.”
But the IRA did attack, maim, slaughter, and murder citizens of America’s ally; Britain. Why the moral bankruptcy isn’t apparent to Mr. King is something you’ll have to ask him. However, what is clear is that despite Congressman King’s moral contortions, in supporting the IRA and Sein Fein he’s supported some really nasty evil people. People who have their own long term links to Islamic terrorism;
“…In addition to linkages between the PFLP(Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine) and various terrorist groups in Latin America, Europe, and Japan, PFLP ties to the Irish Republican Army (IRA) are worth noting. According to several sources, these links date back to 1968-69, when IRA cadres reportedly began training in various Palestinian guerrilla camps. During May 1972 this informal arrangement was formalized at a Dublin conference of several terrorist organizations. At this gathering the PFLP pledged assistance to the IRA in the form of arms shipments as well as diplomatic support from various radical Arab states. Among these, Libya had been prominent in its vocal endorsement of the IRA and reportedly has provided five million pounds sterling for IRA operations. Libya also seems to have become a significant source for IRA’s weapons, as evidenced in the April 1973 capture of West German gunrunning vessel, the Claudia, off the Irish coast. The ship was loaded with arms sent from Libya.”

All those fundraisers hosted and attended by Peter King for the IRA and Sein Fenn, all those times he’s hosted IRA and Sein Fein members in his home has brought Peter King into contact with the same terrorism scum of the earth that is trying to kill Americans and enslave all free peoples.
Peter King has long since been comprimised.
In my opinion the reason why his congressional hearings were watered down by the conspicuous absence of people like Robert Spencer, Steve Emerson, Andy McCarthy, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Wafa Sultan, Walid Shoebat, Bridget Gabriel, and others is because Peter King was blackmailed in some fashion from his long time relationship with IRA terrorists. I suspect the IRA gave Peter King up to their long-term Islamic terrorist associates over criminal or embarrassing information. Information that held King back from holding a serious investigative Congressional hearing. It wouldn’t surprise me if CAIR or ISNA now has some blackmail worthy information about Mr. King’s relationship with the IRA gotten through Muslim Brotherhood contacts with the IRA.
Sleep well children.

It is truly amazing just how bad a job Rep. King did. I mean, “epic fail” doesn’t even begin to describe his complete and utter malfeasance in conducting these meaningless hearings. It’s almost as if he felt bad about committing to them early on and to try to get back into the good graces of his Democrat buds he decided not to call any witnesses who would actually hurt their liberal, multi-culti feelings. I guess I understand in a way. King has been in Washington for a while and probably enjoys the cocktail circuit. Democrats throw good parties. It’s just a fact. Peter King wants to keep those invitations to the cool parties coming in. He’s a standard, inside-the-beltway type who is completely out of touch with average Americans. I really think it’s time for him to go.

The unfortunate bottom line of Congressman King’s hearing, is that the members of the committee were not prepared to face the lies and theatrics of Hakim Mohammed (aka Keith Ellison).
It is well known for those who study Islam (to learn about our enemy), that its followers can be deceitful and engage in all activities forbidden by their “religion” in pursuit of jihad. They can drink alcohol, marry infidels, and still be able to claim their right to dive into the rivers of milk and honey and enjoy the delights of the 70+ virgins awaiting for them in Muslim heaven (what a lofty and spiritual goal for the afterlife … Only in Islam.)
Peter King should have been quite versed on the twists and turns of Islam before getting into these hearings. He should also have had experts by his side in order to reveal the deceit behind the green snake in the grass Ellison’s testimony.
If Pamela can affirm that: ” … In fact, the only mentions … are in leftwing publications criticizing the right for these accusations – but there is no record of anyone on the right ever actually making the accusations.” somebody must also have been aware of this. If this is true, how come the committee allowed that bag of lies to continue shedding crocodiles tears to impress the big audience hanging from his shaking words?
As for why Congressman King did not ” … expose stealth jihadists like Hakim, aka Ellison…”, it’s very simple. Peter King knew that he was left alone to hang, and that he did not have the support of either chamber. When time came to show the hand, everybody pulled theirs back, and nobody came out in Peter King’s support when ferociously attacks came along the full spectrum of political idology.
Congressman King probably realized too late, that these hearings were premature. The American population is still unaware of the dangers we are facing. The outcome of the hearings might have been quite different within a few months.

With all due respect, you are wrong.
Rep. King is doing what no one else can, or will do, and he is paying a price.
Right now he is being attacked by the very same people who put Pamela on a Hate list, and you can not show solidarity with this? Bullsh*t.
Who cares about the IRA?
Rep King has my complete support, and admiration.
ENCORE!

No, I am not wrong. Rep. King was and is held back from being an effective voice against Islamofascism because the very same people whom he has been pallomg around with cf. the IRA & Sein Fein are long time associates of the same ruthless evil Islamic terrorists that want to kill us.
“prime facilitator in this relationship appears to be the Basque terrorist group eta. Both the Real ira and al-Qaeda have strong connections with eta.
The common currency that links these terror groups is drugs. A Scottish newspaper recently wrote, “Bin Laden’s terrorist organization is known to control massive quantities of opium and raw heroin, while the Real ira is suspected of being heavily involved in drugs trafficking” (The Scotsman, Oct. 17).
The Spanish El Mundo newspaper reported that the Real ira are involved in laundering cash for al-Qaeda. It is rumored that bin Laden’s bagman for Europe recently set up house in Dublin, Ireland.”

Represntative King would have my support had he included real Islamofascist experts like Robert Spencer, Andy McCarthy, and Steve Emerson in the hearings. The fact the he omitted them should make everyone suspicious.

Hi,
The IRA is a sidebar, and what you are doing looks to me like grandstanding.
You don’t want to help? That’s your business, but I would respectfully suggest that you not get under foot.
Rep. King knows what he is doing, and what is possible. He doesn’t have consult with JamestheFin before acting, and I don’t want him to.
I think what he did was very savvy. By using ordinary people, Muslims, as witnesses, he showed support for all Americans, especially Muslims.
He did not blow it. He blew a hole through a wall of political correctness. This is an opportunity for us to talk about CAIR, the SPLC, “muscular liberalism”, the transparency of Ellison, and the pettiness of the Democrats.
James, we are on the same side. Please, get your mind right, face front, and repel the enemy.
King is on our side, with more from him to come.
Apologies for my double post.

Failure is failure, and until Americans wake-up to the power play going on around them, we will continue to see abysmal results. But it was a first step for those entering unfamiliar territory. But when the lives of millions of americans are at stake, that’s still not good enough. time to “OUTFOX THE FOX”. Our enemies are seasoned; they have been perfecting their “craft” for decades. This is no time for amateurs. We must ALL become well preapared and well versed experts on the subject because that is what victory REQUIRES!

Florida Judge orders Muslims to follow sharia law!
Make sure you’re sitting down when you read what we became aware of this week!
In Tampa, Florida, a dispute arose over who controls the funds a mosque received in 2008 from an eminent domain proceeding.
Former trustees of the mosque are claiming in court they have the right to the funds. Current mosque leaders are disputing that claim.
The current mosque leaders want the case decided according to secular, Florida civil law, and their attorney has been vigorously arguing the case accordingly.
The former trustees of the mosque want the case decided according to sharia law.
Here’s the kicker.
The judge recently ruled “This case will proceed under Ecclesiastical Islamic law,” (sharia law), “pursuant to the Qur’an.”
You can read the judge’s ruling here.
Now it’s not unusual for a dispute to arise within a religious institution and for a court to order a mediation or arbitration, in order to resolve this without the court having to render its own judgment.
But what makes this case unusual, and highly troubling, is that a group of Muslim leaders—the CURRENT mosque leaders—who do NOT want to be subject to sharia law, are being compelled to do so by an American judge!
This is reminiscent of the 2009 New Jersey case, where a Muslim woman sought a restraining order, in civil court, against her Muslim husband, who was raping her several times a day. The judge denied the restraining order because, in his opinion, the husband did not commit a crime because he was following his Islamic beliefs.
In the New Jersey case, and now in this recent case in Tampa, Muslims found themselves being subjected to sharia law against their will.
Last October, ACT! for America aired a radio ad across Oklahoma in support of the referendum preventing Oklahoma judges from using sharia law in their decisions. The referendum won with 70% support.
The point we made then, which now bears repeating, is that such legislation protects non-Muslims AND Muslims alike from being subjected to sharia law.
When someone claims that opposition to sharia law in America is “anti-Muslim,” make sure you tell them about the New Jersey woman and the mosque leaders in Tampa.
(from today’s ACT for America letter)

Very well said. “This is no time for amateurs,” and many of us have spent much time reading, researching, learning about the scourge known as islam; educating ourselves. But,one, of the most daunting tasks is that we must wake up America (and Canada,) without sounding like fanatical madmen. There are still many westerners who believe “the radical arm of islam,” as being the exception to mainstream islam. Except in the rarest of cases, the mainstream muslim is a myth. This will be the hardest myth to break. I call it, “the few bad apples fallacy.” Most decent Americans who are not prejudiced at heart, will find it difficult to condemn a whole people. They don’t yet know that islam is a vicious, political idealogy, not a religion. It’s up to us, just average citizens, to educate others and it is a daunting task. But, if not us, who?

I’ve said this dozens of times. In many cases, the laws are fine; it’s the damned judiciary who are perverting, misinterpreting, and bending the law to their own prejudices. How many times have we heard about jury nullification? I don’t have the stats, but, I’m willing to bet, most judges are of the progressive, leftist persuasion.

I am a follower of pamela and Spencer and watched the hearings from beginning to end.
What I don’t understand is Pamela’s comments on Dr. Jassar.
He is a moderate Muslim that expresss views almost identiacal to mine. By her apparent criticism without comment, leads to my dismissing her as a serious spokesperson
