Pete King is calling CAIR Sheriff Lee Baca to testify at his "radicalization" hearings:
Baca, who proudly declares himself an international sheriff, found himself in a similar position last year when then-Rep. Mark Souder (R-Ind.) said during a House Homeland Security subcommittee meeting that Baca had allied himself with a Muslim American group that engaged in "radical" speech by going to its fundraisers. Baca shot back at that description of the Council on American-Islamic Relations and told Souder he would be fine with going to
more fundraisers for the group.
"If he thinks I'm afraid of what he said, I will go to 10 fundraisers because he said it," Baca said. (More at the LA Times)

CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case — so named by the Justice Department. CAIR operatives have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. CAIR's cofounder and longtime Board chairman (Omar Ahmad), as well as its chief spokesman (Honest Ibe Hooper), have made Islamic supremacist statements. (thanks to Robert)
I imagine that Sheik Qaradawi himself will be called to testify in Representative King's hearing. When Pete King first caved to CAIR and threw Steve Emerson and Robert Spencer under the bus, I wrote that it was over before it started.
Somali former Muslim Ayaan Hirsi Ali under the bus. And just last week, another casualty in the CAIR rout was Walid Phares.
When you thought it couldn't get any worse, it was announced today that CAIR Sheriff Lee Baca would be testifying. Looks like the taqiyya will be flying fast and furious. Keith Ellison will have plenty of Brotherhood company to keep.
I hope the penalty for perjury is fully enforced in these hearings.
Witness List Set for King Hearing IPT News
Two members of Congress, two men whose families were devastated by a relative's radicalization and two civic leaders with opposing views on Muslim community support for law enforcement will testify Thursday at the first hearing on Islamic radicalization in America.
According to the National Review, the father of a man accused of gunning down an Army recruiter and the uncle of a Minneapolis man killed after joining the Somali terrorist group al-Shabaab will testify about their relatives' path to violence. Also testifying are U.S. Reps. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., and Frank Wolf, R-Va., along with Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca and Muslim political activist M. Zuhdi Jasser.
U.S. Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., called the hearing in December, saying Congress needed to study new and effective methods used by al-Qaida and its affiliates to recruit terrorists from among Muslims in America. That includes English-language Internet video postings and several issues of a new magazine issued by al-Qaida's Yemeni branch.
In addition, King has said, more needs to be done to get community support for terrorism-related investigations. "When I meet with law enforcement," he told the New York Times, "they are constantly telling me how little cooperation they get from Muslim leaders."
Last week, for example, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) filed two lawsuits against the FBI, accusing the agency of allowing unchecked, wholesale investigations into Muslims because of their faith.
Baca has been a staunch CAIR defender, while Jasser has been a persistent critic. The Investigative Project on Terrorism compiled brief profiles of all the witnesses.

Actually, this is an attitude to be admired. When people who tell the truth re Islam are attacked, take this guy’s attitude toward them. For example: if Muslims and their apologists don’t like hearing the truth that 90% of Egyptian women have been sexually mutilated, maybe call saying that “islamophobic”- be sure to repeat it several more times.

Canadianna: Your post is correct-It IS a waste of time to try to argue with muslims. They will lie, as it’s in their rules-they will demand(as they found here in America it’s easy to ‘bully’ your opponents),
they will try to take over just as they have Done in the UK-as the UK was trying so hard to be ethnically
diverse-but it rose up to bite them in the ass. So with our “p.c. crowd, and the Obama sympathizer of the Muslims he said he’d stand with…what can we expect? Answer: We should be able to EXPECT that when
King is supposedly investigating this crap, he’d use the likes of Pamela AND Spencer, who KNOW what is going on with these people who are trying to inflict Sharia Law on us, and they stay on top of these liars each and every day-it’s those two whom we owe a debt of gratitude to, for bringing the Muslim/Islam

Dear Congressman King,
Please continue with the Hearings and do not be deterred from fact finding. It is most URGENT that these hearings takes place and that the dots are connected and made public. The Investigative Project, CAMERA, Middle East Forum, Hudson Institute, Pam Geller, etc., etc., ALL must be heeded. The facts are real, on the ground and time is running out to preserve a western type democracy and an American Constitution that really is humankind’s last best hope for Freedom and Democratic Secular ideals.
There is an expression in arabic and expresses a consistent course of political and religious behavior for Islam : “al- wala’ w’al-bara”. It deals with loyalty to either the state or Islam and Islam must be chosen for Muslims. The problem is the Qu’ran and concepts of duality and abrogation. The problem is that the majority of Muslims profess Islam in it’s totality and are ignorant of what they profess (“true Islam is spoken in Arabic”). If you google the above term and read it and ask Congressman Ellison what that means, his answer will have to be illogical (or mere taqiyah) – to be a good Muslim, one must follow the Qu’ran exactly – no deviation is possible, hence no reformation is possible as did take place in all other great religions (after about 1400 years) – allegiance is to Allah and not the state. To be a good Muslim you must therefore adhere to jihad and the teachings and fatwas, etc. It gets tiring. Islamic extremism is therefore consistent with the Qu’ran – later teachings out rule the earlier – the violent over the “peaceful”. This can not be tolerated in America – political Islam cannot be separated from religious Islam – it’s like Nazism all over again – THAT is the problem.
Please note that the Ikhwan Islam (Brotherhood) documents in the Holyland Foundation Trial (5th Cir Ct. Of Apps, Texas) are most illustrative of what the US government is up against and the need to take action and “weed out” those in government who would overthrow our government, our way of life and our proud American jurisprudence, all for antithetical Islamic jurisprudence and Shariah Law – the lists of “brother” organizations in America in that court evidence is astounding and scary.
My letter will not be “P.C.” – I will say this clearly: it is the verses in the Qu’ran which drive extremism. Period. It is the verses in the Qu’ran which cannot be changed (al-wala’ w’al-bara), hence they must be obeyed. The Qu’ran commands the faithful to destroy the kuffar and demand jiyza, that is us.
I applaud you, your gumption and your actions. Please stay the course and ignore the race baiters and haters.

Anyone who has lived in a Muslim country will verify that they NEVER tell the truth when dealing with non-Muslims.
Lying, deceit and deception is ingrained in Islamic culture as “taqiyya” is justified to further the cause of Islam.
The only way to make headway when dealing with such people is to begin with the understanding that every word they speak is a lie.
Only then can we begin to discern the real intent of Muslims.
Try it out for yourself. Simply look at any older statements made by Imam Rauf. Put a 180 degree spin on his statement and you will find the truth.

Realy, I cannot understand this. How is it possible that King has crossed Steve Emerson and Robert Spencer off of his list of witnesses? How is it possible that CAIR can pressure someone like King to do this? I realy do not understand. Ofcourse, for the sake of objectivity he must have some other witnesses who will defend the “peaceful” nature of Islam, but that’s allright: Steve and Robert will make them look ridiculous. Why does King even listens to CAIR, when the hearings are about Islamic extremism and that includes CAIR.
HOw is it possible so all those MUslim organisations and many muslims oppose these hearings? These are supposed to take the rotten apples out of the community, so you would think they would be very grateful,don’t you? THe argument that it discriminates just one minority is well, bull shit, because everyone knows about 95 percent of today’s attacks and violence comes from muslims all over the world. A simple fact.

When muslims object to anti-Shariah legislation, you know where they stand. Anyone who wants even a portion of Shariah implemented in the US (or in my case, in the Netherlands) should be considered hostile to the law of the land.
It’s ridiculous. It’s like you’re a guest in someone’s house and you don’t like how things are done and you demand that things are done dramatically different. And if that demand is declined you are offended and you play the race card. It truly is pathetic. Anyone who supports shariah in the West should be fined. And if someone actively is trying to implement it, he or she should be kicked out.

The only bright spot is that Congressman Frank Wolf is terrific. He has been on top of the garbage taught at the Islamic Saudi Academy in Alexandria, VA, and is not afraid to speak plainly.

I get a laugh out of the woman giving the finger with the sign “Here is your radical Muslim”: as if the issue of “jihad, terror, and recruitment” is about her. Only a stupid mind could reduce the issue of whether or not there is an issue of Muslim terror (general)to herself (the part). It’s absurd.
Now if she was giving the finger and carrying a sigh “Muslims: Here is your Muslim Egyptian woman who has been sexually mutilated” that might make the general and the particular one in the same if she was a victim of that practice.

If the woman giving the finger held a sign: “Congressman King: I’m not Muhammad Atta” that would be logical since she would be asserting a part of a whole (Muslims) is not to be equal all other parts, but instead she in essence is saying that a part (herself) represents all parts of the Muslim whole.
If Muhammed Atta held up a sign (giving the finger): “Congressman King: here is your Muslim terrorist” the woman would realize immediately what is absurd about her sign and say “the part is not equal to the whole.” Her sign is absurd.

Did Sheriff Lee Baca swear an oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution or the Quran?
It’s time to hold every elected official in America accountable.
Radical Islam has declared war on America and as they cannot defeat the U.S.A. in a toe to toe battle they are using lies, deceit, propaganda & “every strategy of war” to undermine every strata of American society.
In doing so they are simply obeying the command of Allah:
Qur’an:9:5 “When the sacred forbidden months for fighting are past, fight and kill disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, beleaguer them, and lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war.”
The time to wake up is right now! Sheriff Lee Baca and every elected official in America need to have some steel in their backbone and to make a stand.

When you condemn the Egyptian middle class, (the physicians who perform legal, genital mutilation on women,) it reminded me of a story, you may have read about. In Saudi Arabia, two men fought. One of the men, (the winner) came out okay, but the other guy, as a result of the fight was paralyzed. The winner was arrested and convicted. I’m not sure what the actual charge was but it’s irrelevant to the story. The winner’s sentence was to be equal to the injured man’s physical condition. Authorities found a doctor who agreed to medically severe the spinal cord of the convicted man, so, he too, could be a parapelegic (sic) A muslim physician with islamic morals is more frightening than the most radical of jihadists.
