Dopey creatures analyzing CPAC

It takes a special kind of stupid to write uninformed crap like this. Leave it to an “insider” and self-inflated puffball to get this so completely and abysmally wrong. Did he bother to contact me and ask? Ha! Did he bother to contact CPAC? Ha ha! Did he read Atlas’ numerous explanations as to why I hold these events at CPAC? Not a chance. He’s a leftoid, he knows better.

CPAC is not holding this event. I am, with Spencer. Our dime, our film. I do this every year to inject some relevance and honesty about the jihad to clueless and compromised CPAC that is hugely attended by good Americans unaware that Keene and co. has sold them out.

Story continues below advertisement

Dept. of infiltration

One of the strangest moments in this year’s civil war over CPAC was the charge that it had fallen under the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood and of sharia, something rather convincingly rebutted by new of an event tited, “The Ground Zero Mosque: The Second Wave of the 9/11 Attacks.”

Reports TPM:

The event is a movie premiere, hosted by mosque opposition leader Pamela Geller and her partner Robert Spencer. It will be followed by “a question and action and strategy session on how to stop the Islamic supremacist mega-mosque at Ground Zero.”

UPDATE: Benny updates: Infiltration, cont’d

doesn’t mean she’s not worried about the inflitration of the conservative gathering by the Muslim Brotherhood:

CPAC is not holding this event. I am, with [Robert] Spencer. Our dime, our film. I do this every year to inject some relevance and honesty about the jihad to clueless and compromised CPAC that is hugely attended by good Americans unaware that Keene and co. has sold them out.

Also:

It takes a special kind of stupid to write uninformed crap like this. Leave it to an “insider” and self-inflated puffball to get this so completely and abysmally wrong.

I’ve asked CPAC and Geller for a bit more detail on whether they approved her event or had anything to do with it, and will update when I get hear back.

UPDATE: Geller emails that she’s renting a room that CPAC has reserved, but paying the Marriott, and did it without discussing the event with CPAC, which may or may not put it on their schedule.

ALSO: CPAC’s Lisa De Pasquale describes the event as “independent.”

To be clear, shruggers: There are fees to both CPAC and the Marriott. And while I have issues with CPAC, and I do, I commend Lisa De Pasquale for giving me the opportunity to hold the event at CPAC, which she has done every year despite my outspoken criticism.

DePasquale rocks.

I just found this blog and have been reading some of your posts. The Islamic threat is greatly exaggerated. It is perhaps most telling that the vast majority of the Muslims in the world couldn’t point to the United States on a map, and could not care less about us. It is a far greater threat to our security that we are raising a generation of clueless, stupid, uneducated children who lack even the most basic critical thinking skills. If you really believe everything that you have posted in this blog then I can only conclude that you are part of that very generation.

Apparently Randy above has done all the homework he needs to do on Islam. That’s okay Randy if you are fully satisfied through all your research on Islam that it does not represent a problem to Western democracies, then you can identify yourself as a dhimmi and go back to sleep on the subject now, and the rest of us will pick up the mantel on understanding the real and growing threat of Islamic supremacy.
Good Day Randy

The Islamic threat is not exaggerated and I’ll tell you why.
The Organization of Islamic Countries is an umbrella group of 58 countries who are members of the United Nations. They are currently attempting to pass blasphemy laws which make it illegal for anyone in any country to speak badly about Islam. What “speak badly” means, we aren’t sure yet but looking at the events currently going on in Pakistan, it won’t be all that great. The anti-blasphemy law is a part of Sharia law.
Do you think this law will pass? If no one speaks up, it will pass.
Would the United Nations be able to enforce that law here in the United States? With our current sitting President, he has already made it clear that we would most likely follow UN Mandates. Since he is a Muslim (or former Muslim if that’s what you believe), it is most likely that he will use the UN mandate to shut people up about the threats. Also since our pres seems to think he can end run around Congress using executive orders, it is not likely that he will even bring up any legislation to Congress on the matter, but simply do whatever he pleases.
As for your comment “It is a far greater threat to our security that we are raising a generation of clueless, stupid, uneducated children who lack even the most basic critical thinking skills. If you really believe everything that you have posted in this blog then I can only conclude that you are part of that very generation.”
You are correct. There are many people out there who lack the critical thinking skills. There are also many people out there who lack even the understanding of US History to know this is not our first experience with aggressive Jihad and Islam. Can you even name for me what our first contact with Jihadi Islam was?
Right, and you say we are part of the problem? Good luck with that.

It is doubtful that we will here from the passing expert on Islam above Rand Shackleford. People like Randy are adept at insults without really producing any substance that could possibly sustain an argument or reasonable discussion on a topic.
Randy: You are certainly welcome to discuss your opinions here if you can avoid the greatest weakness in a debate forum; that of calling people names or insulting their intelligence without any basis in fact simply does not reflect well here. Now if you have some knowledge about Islam that we may not be aware of please bring it to our attention so that we may openly discuss it in a calm and intelligent manner.
Please come forward with any enlightenment on the subject of Islam. We await your input and presence Randy

” It is perhaps most telling that the vast majority of the Muslims in the world couldn’t point to the United States on a map,”<<<<<< ( fill in the blank). How many times have were heard people coming to this blog and other similar blogs,, claiming to know and speak for "the vast majority of Muslims"? Ludicrous. Do you know MOST of the 1.8 billion? Of course not,,go away and please go back to your video games.

You are wrong about the Islamic threat. See whats happening in Europe right now. As a native from Sweden can I assure you that big problem is coming our way.

It wasn’t my intention to return to this blog as I generally try to avoid crazies. However, you have made my point regarding your lack of critical thinking skills when you state that the President of the United States is a Muslim. Do you really believe that there has been a conspiracy going on in the Muslim world for over 4 decades to take Obama, train him in presidential insurgency and plant him in the White House? That is the very height of paranoia. You have obviously succumbed to the fear driven dialogue that has so infested our nations stream of consciousness. My advice to you is to get out, go travel to the Middle East and you will find that people are the same all over the world and that the people there want the very same things that you and I do, peace, love of family and security. It is people such as yourselves who should be ashamed for mongering in this fashion and catering to the lowest common denominators in our society, those with closed minds and closed eyes. At a time when we should be seeking unity and answers to the pressing problems that our nation is facing, you are tilting at windmills. Good luck with your little web project, I have a feeling that it will be short lived.

“Good luck with your little web project, I have a feeling that it will be short lived.”
Not sure what this knucklehead wd consider a “short-lived web project,” but this great site is 5+ years old, and has gone to strength to strength the entire time. How many bloggers are the subject of New York Times essays of 3,752 words, as was Pamela Geller just 3 months ago?
Mr. Crackleford, you may like to see a dissenting view before you drawm such a bass-ackward conclusion–I recommend my own, here: http://jewishodysseus.blogspot.com/2010/10/pamela-geller-newt-gingrich-and-big.html

The idea that the United States would comply with blasphemy laws enacted by the mostly neutered UN is outrageous. There are over 30 million atheists in this country, and I proudly include myself in that demographic. That is another in a series of incredibly ridiculous statements. Would you comply? Would anyone in this country comply? Of course not. So why would you even make such a silly statement? Do you just sit around thinking of preposterous ideas to propagate on the web? Is the ad revenue that good? Perhaps I’m in the wrong business because something tells me that you don’t really believe what you print but that it’s a good cash cow.

Would the US comply with blasphemy laws drafted by the UN? I know I wouldn’t comply, I don’t follow the UN “laws” when it comes to things of this nature.
Are Muslims around the world and in the US trying to draft and pass that blasphemy law through the UN governing body? You bet. It is being worked on by the OIC and its member countries as we sit here online and debate about it.
What effect will it have on international relations with other countries, specifically OIC members (which include some we by oil from by the way)? Who knows.
But when you say something like “The Islamic threat is greatly exaggerated.” It tells me you are rather clueless.
Trying reading the Team B report on Sharia. After you have read this report, then we can have reasoned discussion about Islam and Sharia.

He is either a Muslim or an Apostate from Islam. According to the Koran you can’t leave Islam without penalty of death.
Try getting out and visiting some of the Islamic countries. See how many Christians are in Muslim countries. Ask Muslims what would happen if they leave Islam. You would be enlightened eh?

At the sub-atomic level of the physical universe quantum physics indicates a
multifarious gap or division in the causal chain; particles to which
position cannot be assigned at all times, systems that pass from one energy
state to another without manifestation in intermediate states, entities
without mass, fields whose substance is as insubstantial as “a probability.”
Only statistical conglomerates pay tribute to deterministic forces.
Singularities do not and are therefore random, unpredictable, mutant, and in
this sense, uncaused. The finest contribution inanimate reality is capable
of making toward choice, without its own selective agencies, is this
continuing manifestation of opportunity as the pre-condition to choice it
defers to the natural action of living forms.
Biological science affirms that each level of life, single-cell to man
himself, possesses attributes of sensitivity, discrimination, and
selectivity, and in the exclusive and unique nature of each diversified life
form.
The survival and progression of life forms has all too often been dependent
upon the ever-present undeterminative potential and appearance of one unique
individual organism within the whole spectrum of a given life-form. Only the
uniquely equipped individual organism is, like The Golden Wedge of Ophir,
capable of traversing the causal gap to survival and progression. Mere
reproductive determinacy would have rendered life forms incapable of such
potential.
Only a moving universe of opportunity plus choice enables the present
reality.
Deterministic systems, ideological symbols of abdication by man from his
natural role as earth’s Choicemaker, inevitably degenerate into
collectivism; the negation of singularity, they become a conglomerate
plural-based system of measuring human value. Blunting an awareness of
diversity, blurring alternatives, and limiting the selective creative
process, they are self-relegated to a passive and circular regression.
Tampering with man’s selective nature endangers his survival for it would
render him impotent and obsolete by denying the tools of variety,
individuality, perception, criteria, selectivity, and progress. Coercive
attempts produce revulsion, for such acts are contrary to an indeterminate
nature and nature’s indeterminate off-spring, man the Choicemaker.
Until the oppressors discover that wisdom only just begins with a respectful
acknowledgment of The Creator, The Creation, and The Choicemaker, they will
be ever learning but never coming to a knowledge of the truth. The rejection of
Creator-initiated standards relegates the mind of man to its own primitive,
empirical, and delimited devices. It is thus that the human intellect cannot
ascend and function at any level higher than the criteria by which it
perceives and measures values.
Additionally, such rejection of transcendent criteria self-denies man the
vision and foresight essential to decision-making for survival and
progression. He is left, instead, with the redundant wreckage of expensive
hind sight, including human institutions characterized by averages,
mediocrity, and regression.
Humanism, mired in the circular and mundane egocentric predicament, is
ill-equipped to produce transcendent criteria. Evidenced by those who do not
perceive superiority and thus find themselves beset by the shifting winds of
the carnal-ego; i.e., moods, feelings, desires, appetites, etc., the mind
becomes subordinate: a mere device for excuse-making and rationalizing
self-justification.
The carnal-ego rejects criteria and self-discipline for such instruments are
tools of the mind and the attitude. The appetites of the flesh have no need
of standards for at the point of contention standards are perceived as
alien, restrictive, and inhibiting. Yet, the very survival of our physical
nature itself depends upon a maintained sovereignty of the mind and of the
spirit.
No one is smarter than their mcriteria. selah

I don’t know who Shackleford is but his comments show him to be totally illiterate on the subject of Islam. He can be ignored.
The threat of Islam to us is vast and with out people like you helping to inform and lead, we would be in far worst shape.
To keep this country free from Islam’s threat, we will continue to need informed people, like you, and we will need to be aggressive in our fight to stop Islamic law in the U.S.
Thanks for your help and we are with you.
