Public Schools Proselytizing for Islam: School Trip to “Moderate” Mosque: Inside Video Captures Non-Muslim Kids Bowing, Praying to Allah

Proselytizing (da'wah) to our children on a class trip?

In late May of 2010, Wellesley, Massachusetts public
middle school students took a field trip to the Islamic Society of Boston
Cultural Center — a controversial Saudi-funded mega-mosque run by the Muslim
American Society of Boston. There, the students were separated by gender and the
boys were asked to join the Muslim adults in their prayer. Several of the public
school boys took part. (hat tip Dan F)

The implications of this cannot be understated. This is an outrage. Your taxpayer dollars going to brainwash our children to Islam. It's bad enough that the history books have been whitewashed of the over a millennium of jihadi wars, land appropriations, cultural annihilations and enslavements.

Go over to peaceandtolerance.org: School Trip to “Moderate” Mosque: Inside Video Captures Kids Bowing to Allah

This morning we are releasing to our supporters and to the public a disturbing video (LINK) showing Wellesley Massachusetts public middle school boys taking part in Muslim prayers during a field trip to a mosque. The video raises serious questions about permitting school children to visit the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center – the controversial Saudi-funded mosque in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston.

It also raises questions about the behavior and intentions of mosque leadership. The mosque is controlled by the radical Muslim American Society (MAS).

In a May 2010 visit, the students were presented with Islamist propaganda, which falsified history by minimizing oppression of women in the Muslim world and whitewashing the role of Jihad in Islamic territorial conquests.

The most outrageous incident occurred during the Muslim mid-day prayer. The students were separated by gender. Then, some of the public school boys, along with the Muslim men, bowed and prostrated themselves with their heads touching the floor in traditional Muslim prayer.

This is yet another one of a series of incidents at the mosque which demonstrate the deceitful nature of its leadership. Under the guise of an educational field trip, the MAS subjected public school children to a subtle form of proselytizing. The combination of bad faith by the MAS with poor judgment, and perhaps incompetence, by school officials is responsible for this breach of the separation of church and state.

The Boston mosque, like the Ground Zero Mosque in New York City, has been embraced by local political leaders including Boston Mayor Menino and Massachusetts Governor Patrick. Our political and civic leadership is reluctant to deal with the reality of Muslim radicals in our community promoting their Islamist agenda to our children, preferring instead to adopt a feel-good politically-correct posture.

After you watch the video, please:

Forward this notice – the film is linked – to all of your friends and lists.
Make a point to send it to your community's religious and communal leaders and ask that they publicly condemn what happened at the mosque.
Follow press coverage of this issue and write supportive letters to the editor.
This incident is a wakeup call for school and elected officials. Our schools must provide honest and unbiased teachings about Islam and take a more vigilant approach in screening for extremist groups like the MAS, which might use educational initiatives to promote Islam to our public school students.

Mr. Joshua Frank, the Principal of Wellesley Middle School, must inform his students' parents of the incident and consider adopting an unbiased and scholarly curriculum on Islamic history that is based on historical facts and isn't developed or presented by Islamic religious groups with an agenda.

We call on Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and responsible school officials to launch an investigation into the relationship between the Roxbury mosque and Massachusetts public schools, as well as to take immediate corrective action.

We think that this local issue will now become linked to the "new beginning" in America's fight against radical Islam here. For the past five years we have been working to demonstrate how the leaders of the Saudi-funded mega-mosque in Roxbury are not the moderates that Mayor Menino and Governor Patrick believe them to be. Now, the ground zero Mosque controversy in New York has raised public awareness – to the national level — of how highly educated and charming radicals succeed in promoting their agenda with the enablement of our political leaders and mainstream media.

There’s a whole load of this stuff going on all over Dar al-Harb. Very little of it reaches the MSM, but nevertheless what we see is obviously the tip of a very large and dangerous iceberg: http://crombouke.blogspot.com/2010/01/islamic-infiltration-and-subversion-of.html

So much for separation of Mosque and state. Anyone that doesn’t home school their children are in for a world of hurt, not to mention stupidity, ignorance, hate, class warfare, inability to think critically, and now Jihadism.

I remember back in my highschool years, we had an instructor who had us goto a mosque and synagogue as part of our “influential religions of the last 2000 years” studies. The thing was back then, neither one of those two houses of worship did anything like that. Rather they explained the history and methods of worship along with allowing everyone to go through the motions of normal entry. I.e. mosque everyone removed their shows, at the synagogue males wore a kippah. Amazing how things have changed in 14 years.

Given the deceit practiced daily by Muslims on infidels (remember there is no Golden Rule in Islam, and Love Thy Neighbor does not translate in Muslim-ese) one of the Muslim “men” (heh heh) at the mosque may have gotten some of the kiddos to have recited the shahada.

My parents would have refused to sign my permission slip and the release form that always accompanied them. If the Imams had come to my school, if my parents knew in advance, they would have kept me home that day; if not, I would have politely listened during their presentation but would have refused to join them in prayer. I know this to be true from the several years of my childhood that my parents thought they were Jehovah’s Witnesses and I didn’t participate in any of the Chrisitian holiday traditions. Being “different” was tough, but it at least it taught me independence and strength at a young age.
I fear for many of today’s kids because they’re not being taught religion (any religiion, including atheism) at home. This leaves them vulnerable to anyone who offers them something to believe in. The school administrators know this, too, and, lefturds that most of them are, it appears they’re taking advantage of the sitution and exploiting these kids to strengthen their bind with their Muslim partners.
We can forward this video, and we will, but if parents don’t get off their rumps and educate their kids on religion at home, it won’t do much good. Those parents are most likely not on our share lists and even if they were, they’d just blow it off, anyway.

There’s absolutely no way my children would have gone on that field trip and I would have been right in that principal’s office! Where are the parents of these kids?? Don’t the schools do any checking into who is running the mosque?
I hope that parents will take some action here and prevent this from ever happening again.
I’ll be checking the Boston news tomorrow to see if they have anything on it. I’m not holding my breath though.

There could be some real benefits to this if a conservative teach was there.
“This children is a mosque. Islam is the religion of the terrorist that attacked us on 9/11, the Cole, etc, etc.” “If any of you are jewish you might keep your mouth shut because I wouldn’t want you losing your head!”

Auntie I agree with you except that we have to stop the “polite” part. The parent chaperones should have stood up and put a stop to this and marched those kids out of there instead of just filming it. The kids should be taught that when they are being asked to drink the kool-aid they will not be punished for standing up, shouting “bullshit!”, and walking out the door. That damned school literally put these kids at risk.
I’m not surprise about Wellesley, which is a rich, liberal Boston suburb where most of the oh-so-Obama-supporting mommies and daddies couldn’t be talked into getting off their exercise bikes long enough to even learn what Sharia is, let alone do something about it. The woman who filmed this is a praiseworthy exception.
“Polite” resistance gets you nowhere when you are dealing with savages and not the Brits in India. Never, never, ever politely cooperate with Muslims practicing taqiyya.
That being said, Americans for Peace and Tolerance is a fine organization and they are doing a bang-up job of promoting this story and video today. Hope to see it go viral. I’m also hoping they will be able to intervene with a Baptist church two towns over from me that intends to hold a totally dhimmified “understanding Islam” course next month. (And this is a “gay-friendly” church. Let’s hear them explain how they square Islam with that.)

APT (Americans for Peace and Tolerance) who produced this video is an excellent organization working to educate people in the greater Boston area about Islam. I love that they have sent out this video and information and hope it goes viral all over the internet and the local Boston news stations. I also hope there will be legal hell to pay over this and plenty of backlash towards our idiot governor, Deval “Dhimmi” Patrick, who has been a vocal supporter of this mosque.

the founder is in prison for decades? Well, all the leadeaders of the govs. in the West, should be put in prison. They are the ones allowing all the islamics in.
It’s obviously deliberate, because it’s happening all over the West. The govs. are intent on destroying the evolved Western society.
Yet, this is what happens when parents become careless. What is a Jewish parent doing allowing their child to even set foot in a mosque? Knowing how islamics feel about them? And the same with christian parents. One doesn’t have to be orthodox in any religion, to know the danger.

As an aside, I don’t know how you feel having grown up in a Jehovah’s Witness family, but personally, I have the utmost respect for JWs. Likewise Mormons, Amish, Mennonites or any law abiding, respectful, family values promulgating “sect” for that matter.
As for judgment, it’s not our place- it’s G-ds. I’d live amongst any such sect as opposed to leftist atheists, or (gulp) Muslims.

metrowestdailynews.com is reporting that Wellesley school Superintendent Bella Wong has sent our a letter of apology to parents of Wellesley Middle School. Wong claims her department had received no complaints prior to release of the video. However, she heard about the incident from someone, because she told teachers following the field trip that students should not have been allowed to pray. So far I’ve seen only one Boston area tv station pick up this story, but that is likely to change by tomorrow.

In any case, it might amuse you to know (particularly if you’ve followed my blog comments at Crusader Rabbit, Eternity Road, American Thinker, and Atlas Shrugs) that I am living proof that one can be both an atheist and a conservative (atheist and Left are, in fact, NOT synonymous), living in the Judeo-Christian tradition (the greatest system for living ever devised), and know where the real battle lies.
