NASA's Neanderthals Pamela Geller, Big Peace

It is becoming increasingly clear that one of the pillars of Obama’s post-American presidency
is to be the islamization of America. How bad is Obama’s obsession with
ceding the free world to the umma (the Muslim world community)?
Chilling to the bone: it should strike terror in the hearts of free men.
Now he is islamizing NASA and the space program. What does this really
mean? It is clearly more than outreach. Obama provided for that when he
created an entirely new division at the State Department specifically for that very thing, outreach to the worldwide Muslim community
(ummah), naming Farah Pandith U.S. Special Representative for Muslim
Outreach. So senior level was this department that Pandith reports
directly to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. So what are the
implications of this treacherous redirection of NASA's mission by
objective? Are we giving away secrets under the guise of diplomacy? Are
we giving away highly classified technology and scientific knowledge to
the jihad?

Back in February, the White House Budget Office scrapped NASA’s plan
to send astronauts back to the moon, saying it was over budget and less
important than other “space investments.” Last month, on a trip to the
Middle East, Obama’s NASA Administrator has made it clear: a more
important space investment for Obama is pandering to Muslim countries.

Charlie Bolden, the NASA chief appointed by Obama, revealed at the
time that the moon shot was scrapped that Obama had asked him to “find
ways to reach out to dominantly Muslim countries.” But wait, it gets
worse. Bolden last week traveled to the Middle East. Why? He explained
that it was all about submission to Islam again:

I am here in the region – its sort of the first
anniversary of President Barack Obama’s visit to Cairo – and his speech
there when he gave what has now become known as Obama’s “Cairo
Initiative” where he announced that he wanted this to become a new
beginning of the relationship between the United States and the Muslim
world.

No one could have imagined that this new relationship would have
anything to do with NASA – no one except Barack Obama. Bolden said:

When I became the NASA Administrator – before I became
the NASA Administrator – he charged me with three things: One was that
he wanted me to re-inspire children to want to get into science and
math, that he wanted me to expand our international relationships, and
third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a
way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with
predominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic
contribution to science, math, and engineering.

What contributions? Islamic scholar Robert Spencer points out that
much of what are considered Muslim inventions today have been wildly
exaggerated, if not outright lies, “often for quite transparent
apologetic motives.” You’ve heard they invented the zero, right? But
actually, Spencer says, “The zero, which is often attributed to Muslims,
and what we know today as ‘Arabic numerals’ did not originate in
Arabia, but in pre-Islamic India.” Well, they preserved Greek philosophy
when Christian Europe had thrown it away, didn’t they? No. According to
Spencer:

Aristotle’s work was preserved in Arabic not initially
by Muslims at all, but by Christians such as the fifth century priest
Probus of Antioch, who introduced Aristotle to the Arabic-speaking
world. Another Christian, Huneyn ibn-Ishaq (809-873), translated many
works by Aristotle, Galen, Plato and Hippocrates into Syriac. His son
then translated them into Arabic. The Syrian Christian Yahya ibn ‘Adi
(893-974) also translated works of philosophy into Arabic, and wrote one
of his own, The Reformation of Morals. His student,
another Christian named Abu ‘Ali ‘Isa ibn Zur’a (943-1008), also
translated Aristotle and others from Syriac into Arabic.

Aristotle's philosophies would be prohibited under Islam. Muhammad
most likely would have beheaded him. He stands for everything Islam is
against. Ayn Rand wrote of Aristotle:

Aristotle is the champion of this world, the champion of
nature, as against the supernaturalism of Plato. Denying Plato’s World
of Forms, Aristotle maintains that there is only one reality: the world
of particulars in which we live, the world men perceive by means of
their physical senses. Universals, he holds, are merely aspects of
existing entities, isolated in thought by a process of selective
attention; they have no existence apart from particulars. Reality is
comprised, not of Platonic abstractions, but of concrete, individual
entities, each with a definite nature, each obeying the laws inherent in
its nature. Aristotle’s universe is the universe of science. The
physical world, in his view, is not a shadowy projection controlled by a
divine dimension, but an autonomous, self-sufficient realm. It is an
orderly, intelligible, natural realm, open to the mind of man.

In such a universe, knowledge cannot be acquired by special
revelations from another dimension; there is no place for ineffable
intuitions of the beyond. Repudiating the mystical elements in Plato’s
epistemology, Aristotle is the father of logic and the champion of reason
as man’s only means of knowledge. Knowledge, he holds, must be based on
and derived from the data of sense experience; it must be formulated in
terms of objectively defined concepts; it must be validated by a
process of logic. […]

For Aristotle, the good life is one of personal self-fulfillment.
Man should enjoy the values of this world. Using his mind to the
fullest, each man should work to achieve his own happiness here on
earth. And in the process he should be conscious of his own
value. Pride, writes Aristotle—a rational pride in oneself and in one’s
moral character—is, when it is earned, the “crown of the virtues.”

A proud man does not negate his own identity. He does not sink selflessly into the community.

These very ideas are anathema to Islam. Blasphemy.

But what about medicine? The Muslims were great innovators in the
medical sciences, weren’t they? Here again, Spencer points out that it
was non-Muslims in the Islamic world who were doing the heavy lifting:
“The first Arabic-language medical treatise was written by a Christian
priest and translated into Arabic by a Jewish doctor in 683. The first
hospital was founded in Baghdad during the Abbasid caliphate — not by a
Muslim, but a Nestorian Christian. A pioneering medical school was
founded at Gundeshapur in Persia — by Assyrian Christians.”

The bottom line is, all of the inventions and discoveries attributed
to the Muslim world were actually stolen from conquered peoples.

But now the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (note the National) is no
longer is about space exploration and aeronautics, but instead has
become a political agency whose objective is to whitewash history and
shill for Muslim countries. Going where no taqiyya has gone before — the moon.

While Obama is directing NASA’s chief to make it his foremost
priority to ensure that Muslims feel good by spreading lies about their
history and achievements, the advancement of true science, as
represented by NASA’s space program, is being shuttered. And now NASA
itself is being redirected to serve Muslim countries. “We really like
Indonesia,” explained Bolden, “because the State Department, the
Department of Education [and] other agencies in the U.S. are reaching
out to Indonesia as the largest Muslim nation in the world. We would
love to establish partners there.” Which partners? The increasing number of Islamic groups in Indonesia uniting to "prepare for war against Christianization”?

NASA’s mission, according to its website, is to “pioneer the future
in space exploration, scientific discovery and aeronautics research.” It
focuses on four areas: aeronautics, exploration systems, scientific
exploration, and space operations. “Nasa scientists,” according to the
Telegraph, “have provided some of the most inspiring, eye-catching and
terrifying headlines of recent years.” These include their warning about
the potential devastation that could be caused by solar flares; the
discovery of life on Titan, a moon of Saturn; the most detailed
satellite images of Earth ever made; the discovery of water on the moon;
and much more. NASA has developed everyday items including invisible
braces, scratch-resistant lenses, cordless appliances, and water
filters.

Yet this latest example of Obama’s relentless submission to Islam
was covered nowhere except by FOX News. Byron York documented at the
Washington Examiner that the New York Times, the Washington Post, NBC
Nightly News, ABC World News, and CBS Evening News all said nothing
whatsoever about Bolden’s shocking admission. Maybe they think turning
the space program into an exercise in dhimmitude will satiate the
insatiable.

Michael Griffin, former head of NASA under the Bush Administration,
disagrees. He told FOX on Tuesday that Obama’s idea that NASA should be
devoted to making Muslims feel good was “deeply flawed.” Said Griffin:
“NASA … represents the best of America. Its purpose is not to inspire
Muslims or any other cultural entity.”

One can only imagine what Obama is really thinking.

I can’t believe the news I am reporting in Omerica. Seriously.
Another radical step for Obama, another giant step backward for mankind.
